This was so much easier to set up than the one it’s replacing, for 2 reasons. The instructions are clear and full sized. It does not require the obscure ‘other SATA’ power connector that absolutely no other component has needed for years. That provided me additional room in the back of my case, and I appreciate it.
The pump RGB cable is remarkably short compared to the fans’ cables. Corsair being Corsair, I suppose this is a deliberate upsell for an extension cable, but it was workable.
Looks good. The logo isn’t my first choice, but it’s not as obnoxious as I feared.
It’s quiet and effective.

Easy install seems to be working good. I5 13600kf doesnโt overheat.

I never was sold on water cooling.
My main gaming PC is still air cooled.
But I decided to build a system for my bigscreen I can play things that support controllers on.
I chose this because the older server system I disassembled to create the new ‘console’ PC kept overheating with its stock cooler.
I occasionally use this system to do video encoding on so I needed something capable of handling sustained high thermal loads.
This thing cakewalks through anything I throw at it. I have it tweaked so the fan rarely spins up except when it’s running games or encoding something. Just watching movies or YouTube on the bigscreen and the fan on the radiator doesn’t even bother spinning, CPU stays at about 32C. The highest I ever see the CPU get is doing handbrake encodes, 100% CPU usage, at 45C.
The lighting effects are cool, and it’s highly customizable, easy to come up with your own snazzy effects.
I have it paired with a Corsair Carbide case, and the smoked glass makes the lights very understated which I love the look of. Of course Corsair iCUE lets you also turn the lights completely off if the system is in your bedroom or dorm or something and you need to sleep in the dark with the system on.
It’s powered by a USB header from the motherboard, so make sure you have one free. It’s just a micro USB connection into the pump though so conceivably you could run a micro USB cable from a port somewhere, it just wouldn’t look as good.
No leaks, no dealing with fluid, which I hate the idea of.
I’m so impressed with this AIO I’m considering buying one for my main Ryzen PC.
It’s exceptionally silent. I can never hear the pump and I can only hear the fan if it’s maxed out and my face is a few inches from it.
The one downside I see is very small. There’s a tiny wire that has to go to your motherboard’s CPU fan plug so your system doesn’t freak out because it isn’t directly controlling the fan. That wire is kind of obvious depending how your case wires up, and for me it took a while to figure out how to hide it.
The only other thing is the tubing itself can’t be hidden and isn’t all that long for various reasons, so there’s a limited set of ways you can make the thing look good, but it’s an AIO, you take that when you don’t want to do your own tubing.

Unfortunately I lost the small RGB cable that came with my case, so the color doesn’t match the rest of the case, but I am still happy with my purchase.

DROPPED my pc temps. My previous cooler failed and my pc was consistently running 80-90 C!
My only con with this is it didn’t have any instructions on how to install and the video that they posted on Youtube is super rushed and uninformative, it’s not beginner friendly that’s for sure. Once I figured out where everything went, it was fine so I can only give 2 stars for ease of install.

This H100X doesnt support iCUE out of the box, which means you can’t see your pump health status. I can’t stress how important it is to be able to see your pump health (internal fan spinning/pump working at least). When you run a big old traditional CPU fan/heatsink, you can at least see visually if the fan is spinning when your CPU might be getting hot, and you can typically catch that issue before you have a PC meltdown. With an all in one water-cooling system (AIO) like this Corsair H100X, you have no idea if the water pump has failed, that is until your system is overheating and you sit there scratching your head and guessing if the water pump has failed. Sure, you can see the fans on the radiator if they stop working, but you can’t see what’s going on with the pump health. I haven’t had to buy a new AIO for 5 years and I assuming they all had a USB connection to view the pump health status….nope. Horrible waste of my time and money installing this H100X without a pump monitor on it.
Yes, while the Amazon ad states the following:
Enable advanced control with CORSAIR iCUE software for system monitoring and synchronized lighting with your iCUE ecosystem (requires a CORSAIR iCUE lighting controller, sold separately).
I thought that I only needed an iCUE lighting controller if I cared about customizing lights. The product page shows images of iCUE Software logos and I assumed (wrongly) that Corsair wouldn’t sell a pump without a pump health monitor capability. Shame on Corsair for selling ANY AIO model without a pump monitor built-in. Now I see why this H100X was so cheap. Apparently the “i” at the end of the model name (like H100i) means it supports iCUE.
As an IT Engineer working in both infrastructure and software development for over 25 years now, I strongly urge you to ONLY buy an AIO water-cooling system that includes a water-pump sensor of some kind, usually a USB connection from the AIO to your mainboard. It’s not worth saving a few bucks to assume “it’ll never happen to you” and/or that you’ll catch a CPU meltdown when the pump fails some day.

I ordered this for a PC build I was working on and was surprised at how easy it was to install. All the parts necessary to mount the cooler were included and the RGB liquid cooler really stands out and completes the look. Since most of my other components are Corsair brand, everything can be controlled from the iCue software which is very convenient.
I have an AMD Ryzen 7800x3D and this cooler keeps the temperatures under control. It’s very quiet and well worth the cost, especially if you can get it on sale.

At first, it was pretty hard to install because it didn’t come with an installation manual but managed to figure it out later on the build. All in all it’s a good AIO for it’s price!

Had to replace the AIO that came with my ibuypower after 3 years. Came across this one, felt it was a great price. Keeps the PC at great temps and is super quiet, well worth it.

Ottimo prodotto, peccato per la velocitร ventole un pรฒ bassa. In futuro credo cambierรฒ le ventole. Nellโinsieme รจ un buon prodotto. Facile da istallare con pasta giร preistallata.

Works well. Stressful to install if you are not well versed in computer building like I am. I had no idea what I was doing and there is NO INSTRUCTIONS. The only guide is a youtube video that does not explain the wiring segment very well at all to people just learning. So im stuck with no RGB because I dont know what I did wrong with the wires. But, i got the pump to work so thats all that really matters I guess.
