I’ve built 3 different systems with totally different components ranging up to a RTX 4090/Intel 14700K PC and its been a flawless experience with my HX 1000 powering them.

I love that its so solid its the last thing I have to think of when I’m troubleshooting any instabilities due to an overclock. I can’t even hear it at 3 feet from me.

I bought the HX1000 non i back in NOV ’22 so its no longer being made I think. I was able to get mine for $205 USD black Friday deal. Corsair killed it with this PSU.

If your MOBO requires an 8 pin and a 4 pin connector (with a CPU that can use the extra power) it does not come with the 4 PIN connector so you will need to order an adapter which all seem to be 1 week minimum to ship. This thing also smells like global warming but w/e. The case that holds your extra cables is a nice bonus.

I was a bit apprehensive as to the quality of the included cables based on a lot of videos using custom power cables (extra purchase). I will say that the included assortment of cables is HUGE!! They came with their own zippered pouch. The power supply is quiet, works out of the box flawlessly, the documentation was decent, and the INCLUDED cables are professional looking.

This item was hard to find because of Covid and PC Building being a hard time to build. Got this for a Gaming/Streaming Build I wanted to do and was able to finally build my first Gaming PC this month. Been using it for 7 days now and it is perfect. 100% silent, I didn’t change the default mode on it or anything. I cannot hear anything in my PC except the case’s pre-built 3 RGB fans but those aren’t that loud to be honest.

As for this Power Supply, I was afraid of it being DOA and it wasn’t. I had it for months just had to wait it out until I got a Strix 3080 or 3070. I ended up getting a Strix 3070. I am very happy with my 1000 Watt purchase and would buy from them again. I don’t have to upgrade for a very long time as well. 1000 Watts was also a future proof investment.

I’ve bought Corsair PSU’s for the last several PC builds. They never disappoint. This 1000w is very quiet and comes with everything you need to install. My only complaint might be how stiff the 8pin cables were for the GPU. My 3070 card in a mid size case came within an inch of touching the tempered side. The cables are very thick and it took some creative bending at the connection ends to get it to fit. It worked well overall.

Always had great experience with Corsair PSUs. My last one wasn’t fully modular, so this was a well-deserved upgrade. It also lasted me for over 9 years with no problems what so ever.

Fan noise levels are low and haven’t seen any issues so far. The prices are fluctuating right now but if they stabilize, it’s worth purchasing.

ok it was a open box buy what i was not expecting is the following 1 no power cable 2 no sata cables 3 the item looked like it had been used said second hand on the box.at no time was i told it would be second hand £110 for this very misleading. The new power supplies come with a 10 year warrantee this one no mention.

This is the first 1 I bought, but the 3rd one I have used to build a PC. I built 2 PCs for my nephews over the past month and now I am working on my own. When writing this I have not powered this on, but the other 2 are working great. Very quiet, cannot hear it or tell that it is on. When figuring out power needed, it came to a 750-850, but went to a 1000w in case of future upgrades and not wanting to tax the power supply. Seems to work very well in the 2 running PCs

Was skeptical at first because I read reviews. If you read any PSU reviews you’ll notice all have some failures where it blows up your components, of course people complain about this. However I still took the precaution and attached it to an old system for several days running a heavy load. Everything was very stable and clean. The voltages don’t jump around like the cheaper PSU’s that I use to buy. I now have it installed into my new PC running higher end components. The GPU and CPU seem to be very stable and don’t run out of power ever. The fan usually stays off when it doesn’t need to cool its self. This is a nice feature since it wont get full of dust or create noise. I am curious to how this will affect its overall life however. Usually having electrical components warmer/hotter leads to shorter life. I’m sure they took that into consideration and have the temperature/fan settings appropriate. A few things I don’t like however is the cables and this goes against most manufactures. They run the sleeve and heat-shrink right up to the connectors. This makes it very hard to bend or route cables nicely without putting considerable torque on the connectors. I know for one that I don’t want a cable putting torque on an expensive GPU or my motherboard. This has the potential to break traces or solder connections on the boards. Back in the old days the wires were all free and they bent easier. I wish the PSU manufactures would make the ends more flexible. I was also somewhat confused on why the manufactures box had new stickers and such on it. I have seen this in retail stores and on Amazon now where this is sold by Corsair. The box was opened at some point and they have officially resealed it. They have changed the bar-codes and put new manufactures seals on the box. I really am curious to why. Did they replace the components, the user manual/documentation, or what? @Corsair – can you please tell me why? Or should I be concerned this isn’t authentic? It looks very authentic like Corsair did this so I’m not sure what to think on this one.

I bought it to replace a Seasonic PSU 850PX Platinum that died, killing my mobo and mem sticks with it, after the frustrating customer service provided I decided to quit Seasonic and buy Corsair, it’s a brand I know and the customer service is OK, my new PSU has being working fine, it’s quiet and does the job, I feel my pc is safer now

I think the price should be a little cheaper but I don’t mind.
When you buy Corsair, you buy quality.
I’m using up consistently about 800 watts and I barely hear it running.
Wish it came with 2 extra PCIe cables (6 instead of 4) since I could have utilized them, and because there’s 6 available spots on the psu.
Aside from that, I would and will buy again.

Stay away from this product, I had to RMA two of these from two separate places. Same product both had unbearable squealing/coil whine which is a shame considering it boasts the quiet performance. I tried everything to get rid of the noise, it was like a bird chirping even whilst the system was idle. Don’t go through the pain I did. I ended up getting a different brand entirely and now it’s quiet as anything!
