I purchased this mouse and from the start the quality feels very cheap. The mouse scroll is terrible and would not function. I sent it in to get replaced. I got the replacement through Amazon. The new mouse’s wheel still felt rough and clanky when scrolling but at least it worked… For about 1 month.

Had to submit a ticket through Corsair Customer service and it is the worst service I have ever had in my life. It takes them 1-3 days to reply to anything, the responses are automated or vague. Took a week just to get the RMA to send it to them so that I could get my replacement. A week and a half later I receive what I thought would be my new mouse, but instead it was some random cheap refurbished headset. Tried to escalate my ticket and get this resolved and they keep asking me to send them a picture of the serial number of the headset before they can process my request. I have sent them a picture of the box with the label that has all that info, a pic of the serial number on the actual headset earpiece and yet they still keep replying to my email saying to send them a pic of the serial number so they can “better help me”.

I have yet to receive my replacement mouse which costs more than the cheap corsair headset they sent me and there is absolutely no way to contact them over the phone, only through email or website chat which is just as useless since I have tried 3 times already.

I also had to pay to ship the mouse to them which costed 30 dollars and they said they would refund it to my paypal and have not done so at all either.

DO NOT buy this mouse and DO NOT buy any products from Corsair. Save yourself the trouble and money so that you dont get scammed by this company and their faulty products.

I bought this mouse originally to play a few MMO games I got into, that used the numbers to cycle abilities, and it was much more practical to have them on the mouse since it was used as a core control for the games anyway.

Having used it for a few months, I really cannot fault it. Everything from the build quality, number pad adjustment, build materials and easy sync with iCUE for the RGB lights was perfect. Being a wired mouse as well was also a big plus for me, since I prefer them over wireless, and the braided cable meant it wasn’t going to break anytime soon (which after a few months, I can safely say hasn’t).

Ergonomically, the mouse fits really nice in the hand. It has a premium weighted feel, is just the right size, and every curve and notch fits flawlessly into your palm.

The mouse is also full customisable in button mapping, DPI setting and RGB lights, with total compatibility with Corsair’s iCUE program.

Finding a fault on this mouse is like finding a needle in a haystack, it really is that good. It became my daily driver for both work and gaming, and unless it falls into severe disrepair, will be with me for many years to come.

As someone deeply invested in the world of gaming, I am always on the lookout for peripherals that can take my gaming experience to the next level. That’s why I was thrilled to get my hands on the Corsair SCIMITAR RGB ELITE gaming mouse, and let me tell you, it has completely exceeded my expectations.

First and foremost, the design of this mouse is nothing short of impressive. The sleek black exterior, illuminated by customizable RGB LED lighting, instantly adds a touch of style to my gaming setup. But the real magic lies in its performance.

Equipped with a staggering 18,000 DPI optical sensor, the Corsair SCIMITAR RGB ELITE offers unparalleled precision and accuracy, allowing me to effortlessly navigate even the most intense gaming scenarios. Whether I’m engaging in fast-paced FPS battles or executing complex MMO commands, this mouse delivers smooth and responsive tracking like no other.

One of the standout features of the SCIMITAR RGB ELITE is its customizable button layout. With 17 fully programmable buttons, including a patented Key Slider control system that allows for precise adjustment of button positions, I have the power to tailor the mouse to suit my unique gaming preferences. This level of customization has revolutionized the way I play, giving me a competitive edge like never before.

But the benefits don’t stop there. The Corsair SCIMITAR RGB ELITE is also ergonomically designed for maximum comfort during extended gaming sessions. Its contoured shape and textured grips ensure that my hand stays comfortable and fatigue-free, allowing me to stay focused and perform at my best for hours on end.

Overall, I can’t recommend the Corsair SCIMITAR RGB ELITE enough. Whether you’re a casual gamer or a seasoned pro, this mouse is a game-changer. With its impeccable performance, customizable features, and ergonomic design, it’s truly the ultimate gaming companion.

Hands down the best gaming mouse I’ve owned. The sad thing is that gaming mice don’t last long anymore. I just ordered another one after about 1.5 years of use. The scroll wheel started doing the stuttering so many people report and it became too much of a problem to keep using. I like this mouse so much I’m willing to keep replacing it every time it goes out, and honestly, good luck finding a gaming mouse that doesn’t have double-clicking or scrolling issues after about 2 years these days. I like the shape and feel of this mouse, the side buttons are adjustable so it’s a perfect fit, and the clickers have a very satisfying click. It has a very soft yet grippy feel to it. I dare say it’s perfect if not for the wearing-out issue that’s so common with gaming mice.

After getting burned by Razer twice in three years I thought I’d give this mouse a go. Its been about three days and it works great. My main issue was getting buttons assigned and saving on device profiles. The iCUE software is complete a** compared to Razer’s and needs an overhaul to simplify it. But the hardware itself is rock solid so far!

    ICUE DOES WORK –
At the time of this writing there is only one other review posted and it says ICUE does not work. That it false. To be fair, the mouse did not register for me in ICUE at first, either. But the cause is fairly obvious. They are using an old version of ICUE… from before this mouse even existed. Literally all you need to do is update the software. I attached screenshots proving it shows up and works, along with what software revisions they are on right now. Yeah, that’s it… just update your software. There is a button in the corner.

For the mouse itself, it is ALMOST identical to the old wired version. There are a few minor aesthetic downgrades. For some reason they removed the RGB in the mouse wheel, plus the light in front of the side buttons is gone too. Also, it has one less button on the top, behind the mouse wheel. The fit and feel is the same.

I would certainly be happier without those random minor downgrades, but they are super minor and the upgrade of FINALLY having a wireless version of this mouse is 100% worth it. I love this mouse and have been on the lookout for a wireless version for years. It is the best MMO mouse, and now finally wireless.

The only reason I’m ordering a second one is because the MMB started to be a little less responsive, but I use it all the time. The original mouse still works but I’ve had it for almost 6 years, and it just started to go out recently.

I loved my Logitech MMO mouse deeply. I’ve burned through two of them through the past 18 years playing World of Warcraft and everyday computing. However, Logitech discontinued manufacturing the mouse a while ago, and finding one that isn’t used is very hard to find. I finally had to look for something comparable from another manufacturer. There are very few manufacturers that make a side-button MMO mouse nowadays.

The first one I tried was from Red Dragon. While good, it gave me hand fatigue. I still have it, it’s a good mouse, but I decided to keep looking.

I picked up the Corsair’s Scimitar because of the good reviews it had received here on Amazon. I can honestly say that reviews are accurate, the good and the meh. Mostly, this is an excellent mouse and I highly recommend it. It fits my hand better and the clicks feel so good.

The software looks sharp, but it’s dorky to use. I am not a fan. Yet, I managed to stumble through and make it work. If there’s a roadblock to successfully using the Scimitar mouse, it’s the software. I don’t like it. It’s not intuitive.

The mouse itself is excellent. The adjustable sliding side buttons help to find the sweet spot for my thumb to be happy clicking away without fatigue. The click feels GREAT. I honestly fell in love when I made my first clicks. I can’t explain it but it feels great! Buttery yet snappy is the best way I can describe it. After several weeks of raiding with the Scimitar, I can honestly say I love this mouse. No regrets.

I’m thrilled to have found a great replacement for my old Logitech MMO mouse. The Scimitar by Corsair is fantastic to play with. It’s snappy and responsive. I have no problems to report other than the cool-looking but non-intuitive software needed to re-program the buttons.
