I have a 60 gallons and had small little led light, so I bought this one to replace it, and it does an ok job, not too bright but bright enough to make my fish more colorful, more vibrant in colors, I have koi and gold fish by the way.
Easy to set up, but the suction cup to secure the led light didn’t work well at first, it kept falling down and I had to adjust it redo it a few time but finally it’s been tightly secure for a while now. When the light fell down into the water, it didn’t do any damage to the light or the fish, so I guess it is water proof, safe to use under water? I don’t know, I haven’t tried it. so I kept it on top.
There are many different colors to choose from on the remote, I didn’t like any other one beside the original bright white one, because those other light aren’t that bright, maybe those dimmer one for fish to sleep and there isn’t an option on looping timer I can use, or maybe I don’t know how to set it up yet. I would like the timer to be on at certain time and off at certain time, or turn on at certain time with certain colors and change to another colors at certain time, I have not figure that out yet as I don’t even know if it’s available because I don’t see clock setting, it must be a loop like 4, 8, 12 hours etc … which is not really helpful for me. Maybe I should get external power timer for just off and on.

Not bad at all for the price. Accidentally dropped it in the water while installing to my cover and it was completely fine, definitely submergible. I also like the features of dimming the light and the change of colors. As well as “mode” option pretty cool. But I mostly use it on white or purple

The lights are bright and work well. Unfortunately, after a few months use, this light stopped working completely. We ended up replacing it . I’d avoid it

So I have one of those all-in-one aquariums where the digital thermometer and LED lights are all one unit, and those just went out after one month. I’ve never experienced that with any other kind of aquarium. I did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews that led me to this light. Granted, this is just a small 5 gallon aquarium so it doesn’t need a full light show, but this one seemed like the one for the job. It’s really not all that impressive. The light isn’t bright, at all. I used the suction cups to attach it under the hood where the original lights were and one side has fallen twice so far. It’s currently well attached for the time being however. The remote control works when it wants to and you have to long press it for it to control the light. I don’t see that all the colors are necessary and honestly some of them are difficult to even see the fish through. There also isn’t a timer setting on this light, and most aquarium lights have those so I just assumed this would too, for the record it does not. I just wasn’t all that impressed to be honest, and I’ll continue looking for a better option.

These lights are a lot of fun! They add brilliant colors to your aquarium. I have three of them now. The last one had a leak and moisture entered but I contacted COVOART and they are sending me a new light so good customer service too. The one issue is that if you are using more than one in a room the remotes may control others lights randomly. If you are using two lights in one aquarium this might work out for you if one remote controls both lights in the aquarium. It didn’t work out that way for me. One remote controls one of the two lights in one aquarium and another light in a different aquarium across the room.
