Yamaha provides exact measurements for their guitars, and Crossrock provides measurements for their cases…but I was still hesitant to spend money on a case.
This fits my FSC-TA (TransAcoustic) like a glove. The neck cradle holds the head dead center so the machines don’t bump side to side, and while there are small gaps around the waist, the shoulders and hips of the guitar are held nicely by the padding. For much of the fit it looks like the case was made for the guitar. The fit is great but it’s not too tight and doesn’t put pressure on any point of the instrument.
The build quality is really good. This is a solid case, not a thin plywood thing you might expect from some almost-the-same-priced companies. Ilike the arch top over the bridge and high end of the scale to avoid pressure on the strings where the action is highest. Handle is comfy, latches are solid, all that jazz. It’s a great case.
Definitely would come back to CrossRock again if I need another case.

My guitar isn’t full size, it’s a Kmise 38″ Beginner Acoustic Guitar. The case was the perfect depth for it.
The case itself is beautiful in design and make. The faux fur inner lining is flawless, and the hardware is of a sturdy design. It looks reinforced for durability. The leather exterior is also nicely made. Unfortunately, the packing methods for the case were not ideal for cold Canadian winters. It had been placed in a large plastic bag, and slid into the box. The item must’ve frozen during shipping and allowed to thaw at some point. The plastic bag would’ve had moisture or humidity. It left slight white marks on the outside of the case.
This was a shipping issue, not a manufacturing one. Despite the marks, the quality of this guitar is fantastic. There’s no way I’m letting this one go. It’s better than I could’ve imagined. I paid less than $120 for it, and I’m pleased with this purchase.
Mine could’ve been a returned product or something, because I noticed the price shoot up to $300 after I purchased it. I would’ve paid $300 for this one, as the case is that well made. BUT, I would not have bought a $300 case for a $125 guitar.
My guitar started swelling with the low humidity, so I needed to fix that. This case is maintaining humidity nicely. Inside, the guitar sits around 48%. Outside the case is closer to 35%. The lower body of the guitar is no longer swelling.
I’m pleased with this product and would buy it again. But… I’d want to have a much more expensive guitar if I spent $300 on a case.

This was a gift, and was well received. It is sturdy, looks just like the photo and the new guitar fits perfectly inside for storage. It is heavy, so it does not take the place of a gig bag, but is very nice to keep a guitar safe.

This is a great case for the $. Solid, well built with nice components, heavy. I got this for my Martin GPC-16E and it fits good. Not perfect as you can see by the pics but it fits snug around the bottom and both sides with a few gaps where the shapes don’t agree but it doesn’t affect the security or the ability to hold my guitar without it moving or shifting. Plenary of space for the head as well. You can’t go wrong for the money, I’ve owned several hard cases, they’ve all been budget/low-end cases and though this is an affordable case that doesn’t have “Martin” on the side of it, I’m very confident to store my guitar and move it to/from lessons with this case.

reasonable case, but I am still looking…

I have a new 14-fret Alvarez parlor, so regular parlor cases don’t work. However, it fits perfectly in the OM. I think the quality is worth the price.
Jessica W. –
The outer box appeared to be very roughly handled during shipping. 4 stars because of the blemish. But overall seems a decent quality hard case for the price. Light weight and will protect my Martin Special X, which fits snug with the extra pads. Sad about the blemish tho.

My recenrly restored 1920s 24 1/2″ scale koa guitar is small. This case has a nice retro look that suits the guitar well, and the dimensions of the classical guitar case are a good fit. Although the case is roomier than necessary, the padding is good enough to protect the guitar during transport. The handle is a comfortable angle, and the latches seem sturdy enough.

Fits guitar like it should. Solid case.

This review goes out to all the Seagull S6 owners out there. Yes. It fits.
This also goes out to the Gretsch 5420TG owners out there. It will NOT fit UNLESS you take off the strap peg on the bottom of the guitar. So you’ll have to unscrew it every single time you put it in. Don’t lose the peg. Decided I will just use this for my Seagull.
The case comes with these two extra wall pads. You don’t need them but if you line them up against the bottom of the guitar and one on the side, the guitar will definitely be snug in there like a glove. Fits the S6 perfectly. This is not a light case. I got the version with no straps so you’ll have to carry it like a suitcase everywhere. I don’t know how the long-term durability will be but off the bat it feels pretty solid for the price. The pictures attached are with the guitar strap on. I do store with the strap off now and it fits right in the inside box.
Looks great. Not sure how comfortable I would be going around town with this type of case because it looks like it might have something expensive inside. I suggest get the all black one if you really want to stay low-key traveling with it. I got this color mainly for showing off a little bit when my friends come over or if I bring it to their house or if one day I do a live gig or something LOL.

Arrived well before expected date and was well packaged. Fits my guitar perfectly and is very well made. Looks even better than depicted. Would totally recommend and would buy again.

This is a high quality product. Good enough for my Martin D-10E. Fits perfectly, even has a couple of padded and lined shims included. I like it so much I purchased two more.

My other guitar case was falling apart, this one has been a terrific replacement!
