I like the coffee pot very much and love that it is single or carafe operation. I did have to call customer support to get the pod to work. Small glitch, but still would not have been able to use it without calling for the fix. I think that should be in the directions. I bought one and sent it back, and re-purchased. When the 2nd one didnโt work, I called customer support. I am a big fan of Cuisinart products in general. This one is very good looking and does not take up much space on by counter. I recommend this product.

I love that the coffee maker has a single cup pod side and a carafe side. It is so easy to use and makes great coffee. It is also very stylish in our kitchen.

Love everything except we are having a problem with exploding pods which is very messy, expensive and annoying. Not all the time, but once is too much.

We enjoy the craft side of this coffee machine. We have had major issues with the pod side. Each time we use it, since the first time, it overflows and grounds get all in the cup of coffee and also all in and around the machine. It is a pain to clean the grounds out of the machine because no parts come out to clean, you just have to wipe inside and around until all the grounds are gone, this is very time consuming. Also when I contacted Cuisinart customer service I do not think their return policy is fair. They want me to cut the cord to the machine, take a picture of this, send back the machine and then wait 2 weeks for the replacement, therefore we would be without a coffee pot for two weeks because they sell a faulty product? If I have to go out and get a new coffee pot Iโm going to buy a new one and not waste 200$ on one that doesnโt work well. I asked if they could charge me for the new one, ship it and then refund me when they get my broken one back, so we can use the craft side in the mean time, so we donโt have to be without one. They told me no, and I will have to go without and wait for the replacement. Seems strange, I asked why they operate this way and they responded, โwe have alot of fraud and donโt trust customers to return the productsโ. Well welcome to the world, everyone deals with fraud, unfortunately part of owning a company is making the customer happy and standing behind your product. Very disappointed in this company and the product quality. Do not buy this machine!

This is the absolute best coffee maker with the options we needed. It makes a whole pot or a cup and the ice coffee is a bonus. We love it!

Got this on July 2. Today is September 2. The pod side is not working. Two months for this price? Disgusting

Review for Cuisinart Coffee Center SS-15 AND SS-16โฆ
We previously had the SS-15 modelโฆ which has a ton of problems in itself. Leaky water reservoir (and no, a replacement will not fix the problem), the more than occasional k-cup coffee ground explosion, and a red clean light that will not turn off no matter what you do to clean or re-program the darn thing.
We decided to just deal with the SS-15 for three years and finally decided to โupgradeโ to the next model, SS-16, hoping it would fix the previous problems. WELL JOKE IS ON ME. My husband brewed a pot of coffee 24-HOURS ago (worked great then) and this morning while looking for the serial number under the machine I noticed that the plate was STILL HOT! No – the โoffโ button does not turn off the plate and there is no side switch to turn on/off the machine like the SS-15. We attempted to make a k-cup and per the manual we had to descale the machine first. After holding the clean button, the light flickered red and it beeped five times to tell us it was done. EXCEPT NOTHING HAPPENED!! The water was still in the reservoir. We clicked on the โpodโ button to select a cup size. Again. NOTHING HAPPENED.
So just like the last machine three years ago, I found myself calling Cuisinart customer service AGAIN. Turns out the machine is malfunctioned. So I must either have terribly bad luck with coffee makers OR Cuisinart makes cheap quality products that could have turned into a FIRE HAZARD had I not discovered the 24/7 HOT hot plateโฆ Iโm going to go with the latter. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY on Cuisinart coffee makers. Youโve been warned.

The coffee maker works great and the coffee takes little time to brew. Easy to set up and operate. Makes great tasting coffee.

Before purchasing this coffee maker I read the reviews and saw the issue people were having with the pods exploding but I chose to purchase it anyhow when I first set it up and made the 1st coffee using the pod it did explode and made a huge mess so I cleaned it up and tried again…this time I put the pod in and pushed it down to puncture the bottom before closing the lid and by doing this I have had no more exploding pods and everything about this coffee maker has worked fine….so if your having the exploding pod issue try pushing it down to puncture the bottom before closing the lid…..good coffee pot after all

The pod side of this coffee maker is absolute garbage. The pods frequently burst causing coffee grinds to go everywhere. Would not recommend.

I bought this coffee maker in November. I liked the fact that it did not take up too much counter space. The coffee was always very hot and good. About a week ago the one cup side stopped working I did everything to try to fix it. Finally called Cuisinart on Monday and told them of the issue.
I was told to cut the cord and send a photo to an email and they would send me a new one. Today I got the new one. Amazing. Thank you Cuisinart

When I first got this coffee pot the pod side didnโt work. After some research I found that I needed to push the reset button manually because it didnโt reset on its own. This was very frustrating. I missed the return date so I was stuck with it. The reset button was difficult and it took several tries to even get that to work. After a few weeks the reset button became easier and now I I rarely need to reset it manually. It seems to have fixed itself. Weird. Now I like it.
