I just bought this scope and put it on my Barnett XP 400 that I bought 2 years ago (October of 2022). The clarity is far superior to the stock scope that came on the crossbow, and I like the illumination as well. I managed to zero it once, before I saw the speed adjustment (pay attention!), but then had to tweak it again once I dialed it in to the XP 400’s speed. I also had to tweak it a bit more after I adjusted the focus. Nonetheless, it shoots straight and consistent now. I plan to take out hunting in the very near future; perhaps even tonight. If it gives me any difficulty in the field, which I don’t suspect it will, I will plan to update this post. Not a bad scope for 70-something dollar range.

I purchased the CVLIFE scope to replace the scope that I received with my new TenPoint Viper 430 crossbow. The Viper 430 scope in my opinion was a waste of money because the numbers are very difficult to see. If you have 20/15 vision the Viper 430 crossbow scope may be for you. I feel that if I used the Viper 430 crossbow scope while deer hunting it would take far too long to get the scope on target because of the exceptionally small numbers and different symbols so I researched other crossbow scopes on Amazon and found what I wanted. The CVLIFE crossbow scope on the other hand is clear and the range symbols and numbers are larger and much easier to see. It also lights up in green and red very well. It’s a solid scope and appears to be well made. It is also designed for 100 yard crossbows with speeds up to 450 FPS. I have not mounted my CVLIFE scope on my TenPoint crossbow yet so I haven’t been able to evaluate its accuracy. I was so disappointed with my TenPoint Viper 430 crossbow that I used my 13-year-old Barnett Buck Commander crossbow with its original scope while deer hunting this year and did quite well.

Scope on my Ravin came apart. Sporting good store wanted $450.00 for new one. I put this scope on and dialed it in very easily. Took an 8 point that night at 46 yards. Great at any price.

This is a solid product but the sighting instructions are a little backwards it has good light gathering accuracy is on if you adjust it correctly the function of the illuminated reticle is good for low light and the toolless turret adjustments are nice to have BUT if you have never shot an above center point scope here is the deal… Get it on paper at 10 yards then back up to 20 yards with your speed ring in the lowest setting get your windage and elevation set with the turrets then forget everything you just did and move back to 50yds and sight it in using your turrets once that is adjusted with the turrets cap them and don’t touch them again then move back up to 20 yds and use the speed ring in one direction or the other to raise it lower your 20 yd circle to hit center at 20yds and leave it alone if you move the ring you will have to resight so mark your setting when it’s done so if it gets turned you know exactly where to set it back to and all of your dots should be good once you complete that exact process if it seems a bit confusing in the instructions… Thanks again
