– won’t scratch mouthpiece, works better than a mouthpiece brush
– size fits my clarinet mouthpieces perfectly
– doesn’t shed much
cons:
– not absorbent at all, more like a very soft mouthpiece brush than a mouthpiece swab
– not individually wrapped as shown in the product images
– the handle could be longer. it’s hard to grip if you put the entire swab inside your mouthpiece

I had intended to buy only 2 mouthpiece savers. So I specifically went with 2 1-packs. What I got was two boxes of 12. So now I have 24 mouthpiece savers. Not actually complaining, especially with the price, but seriously.

It a mouth piece saver it did exactally what it was supposed to do. I haven’t noticed it leaving any moisture left in the mouthpiece and its really cheap too.

I use this every day to clean my mouthpieces. it works very well with the reed on or off. Just be carefull not to push it too far into the reed as it can cause the reed to split. But it is a great device and a wonderful time-saver!

Very, very poor material. Who makes a mouthpiece saver out of shag?! It was nothing like the picture and it kept shedding all over my mouthpiece. I eventually went to my local music store and bought and good quality one. DO NOT BUY!
