Really don’t like these gummies, they are SUPER crumbly, you can’t even pick one up without it completely falling apart in your hand before you can even hand it to your dog. Also smell super bad!

They work for my dogs. They don’t make them comatose, and it makes my big Covid pup manageable during situations where he gets easily excited. The other one only needs to take them for thunder / fireworks & he doesn’t care about the loud noises.

They seem to like the taste, but I have seen them eat poop, so let’s not act like they have a refined palate. ….really who cares about flavor? 😂

Our 13 month old Labrador Retriever mix, Daisy, was experiencing some mild to moderate separation anxiety in the first couple months after we adopted her. The anxiety manifested in Daisy chewing objects (phone charger cord, pens, shoelaces, pillows, pajamas) in our home while we were away. These supplements were part of a treatment strategy that has proved to be effective at reducing her anxiety and almost eliminating the chewing. We give Daisy two of these treats about 15 minutes before we leave home. We also make sure she gets plenty of exercise. And, we leave her with some safe and healthy outlets for her chewing, including bully sticks and Kongs with frozen wet dog food inside.

I have a dog that is terrified of almost everything and these have been a game changer. She is still scared but doesn’t have complete panic attacks where she shakes and hyperventilates. She just goes to her “safe place “ and chills. I didn’t want to put her on strong prescribed medication and have her be a zombie dog so these were a great alternative.

My 14 year old Bichon/Terrier mix. Rambo, had been crate trained his whole life, but he had his companion dog in the crate right next to him. They both stayed calm. A few months ago, unfortunately, Rambo’s companion died from long term diabetes & old age. Rambo has been left devastated & part of that has been to become very stressed & anxious when I have to leave him home alone… crate training be damned! First I had to spend $150 for a virtually indestructible crate bed because Rambo resorted to tearing apart anything, including beds, left in the crate with him. I’ve tried EVERYTHING recommended for separation anxiety. Nothing totally eases Rambo’s discomfort, but these treats, in the MAXIMUM STRENGTH, and given at 1-1/2 to 2 times the suggested dose, do seem to help. These treats in the regular strength, proved woefully insufficient. If I’m only going to be away for an hour or so, I give Rambo these Pet Honesty MAX STRENGTH, treats 1 to 1-1/2 hrs before I leave, then I watch him on the doggy webcam cam while I’m away. He’s still a little stressed (barking), but not as bad as giving him nothing. If I’m going to be gone for a longer period, 2-3 hours, then I couple these treats with medication… Benedryl, Trazadone, or Atavan ( I rotate these meds to avoid side-effects & the development of tolerance). The medication alone doesn’t seem to be enough, but the meds + the MAX STRENGTH Calming Hemp seem to reduce Rambo’s separation anxiety to about half. Every dog is going to be different. Rambo has always been fairly high strung & aggressive whereas his companion was generally pretty laid back & docile. It’s taken a lot of trial & error for me to achieve these results with Rambo, and I’m still on the lookout for other ways to reduce Rambo’s anxiety. These treats are a bit higher priced than others, but I recommend giving them a try. Just don’t expect miraculous results. You may have to resort to a combination therapy for your dog. The combo could be with meds like I do, or it might be these treats in combo with something that doesn’t have to be ingested like aroma therapy or a thunder shirt. Depending on your dogs overall health, it generally wise to consult your vet… Good luck!

Unfortunately, these did nothing for our 90lbs doberman. Despite using 3-4 treats, they made no difference with his anxiety. I can’t recommend these solely based on our experience and the fact that he hates the taste of them but eats literally everything else on the planet.

Didn’t work as well as I had hoped for the big badda booms over the Fourth of July holiday and my gun shy Morkie.

They taste great, my dog loved them, but if you have an anxious dog, find something else, because the price isn’t worth it.

I can see by the top of my order page I have purchased these for my 2 AKC ShihTzu’s 14 times! If that is not trying, I don’t know what is! Why am I writing a one star review right now you may wonder? Well, I will tell you! My two little guys LOVE these things!! They stand up for them and gobble them down! I used to be afraid I was going to kill them before I groomed them..they ate so many!!
Last night was Armagheden where I live! New Years Eve. I began my usual routine at 4:30 p.m. gave them each 3 to start and put on their Thunder shirts. By 6 p.m. the first blasts went off. No results..at 8 p.m. I gave each one 5 more. Mind you one weighs 19#, the other 14#!! They were going nuts at 10 p.m. and I gave each one 5 MORE!! The bombs continued to go off off and on til past 1:20 a.m. and these two little guys were just frantic!!!

I have read again and again all the glowing reviews from others, wishing our family could be like them. I just want to leave this review so that if there are others out there who have tried as we have and gotten the same results, not to think you are the only ones!! You are not!!!

Kauai has treaturous Jan. 1 & July 4th holidays, it’s a cultural thing, we understand, not good for pets or those who love them!
We also have some very loud and bright flashy thunderstorms!!

I am not going to give up. I’m going to try another brand. The “old time” vet here said; “Good Luck” and said sedation was the key…we won’t go that route!!

Once again HERSHEY & SNICKERS highly recommend these!! They taste great!! Never upset their stomachs…just never do anything to calm them down from fireworks and thunderstorms!!
