Overall the unit is spacious and can accommodate any size bottle and has space at the bottom to store open bottles upright which I like. It is quiet most of the time, but will make this bumping sound periodically which is a little annoying. It is keeping the wine cool, but my biggest complaint is that the unit does NOT have a temperature gage so you know what temperature the wine is being stored at …. which is a main reason to have a wine refrigerator. Temperature adjustment is a dial on the back of the unit that only indicates colder or warmer. I think this is a major design flaw and probably would not have bought it if I had know this before purchasing. I’m ordering a thermometer to put inside the cooler to try to get a better grasp on the temperature that the wine is being kept at and if it fluctuation.

With this fridge set at the very warmest (barely on) on the temp control knob it would cool our red wines to 45-49. Way too cold for reds. Never could get it above 50 degrees. Buy a wine fridge that has a digital readout and control. Ended up with a Bodega and it is so much better! Also they claim to hold 36 bottles? Was able to fit 28 max.

I thought it was leaking on my floor when I realized that there was condensation coming from the bottom 20% of the door. Adjusted the temp, didn’t change.

Bought one Danby that keeps on ticking. My white wine refrigerator from another brand died. They are the same age. Bought another Danby.

This cooler runs a little on the cool side, but my basement is also cool, so it’s not that bad. The ambient temperature is about 6. Pictures are from the top, middle, and bottom of the cooler. There is no thermometer built into this cooler, but I already had one that I bought for my old cooler. The temperature dial is at “barely on”, the warmest possible setting. I may use a cooler setting in the Summer. I put the red wines near the top and the white wines on the bottom because the bottom is about 44 degrees and the top is 52.

Fits are space perfectly. Is silent and sleek. Works as I tested and has space for upright beer bottles or cans too.

This is a perfect fridge for white wines or other beverages you want frosty-cold! At the very least chill setting (no Numeric temp selection avail), aka the ‘warmest’ setting, our bottles of red wine come out super chilled. This seems to be a Danby feature as the last one was the same. I thought it was a fluke particular to the model we got rid of. No more Danby units for our reds but the unit works very well, quietly and for a decent price.

Bought this one because my old one stopped cooling one day. This is a very nice wine cooler for a great price. It’s not as fancy as my old one but it does an awesome job cooling the wine and is much quieter. My old cooler had two temperatures. This one has a dial to turn on the back of unit. Low to high. I have it set low and it is doing exactly what I want it to do. I only wish it had a spot that told me what the inside temperature is.
