This heater has multiple heat settings and a timer, so you can set it to your preferences. I like that it can be used indoors and outdoors, so that when we get those nice cool days you can still enjoy the patio. It does a good job heating up a small space outdoors and a great job heating up a room indoors. The timer means that I don’t have to worry about remembering to turn it off, which is a great thing for me. I also like that it has a tip-over feature so that if one of the dogs knocks it over, I don’t have to worry.

The heater is heavy. The main exterior components are constructed from steel, which should add to its longevity, but it sacrifices convenience because of the added weight. Other heaters use aluminum and are very portable.

At first, the assembly seemed simple, but the simplicity was countered by the difficulty of mounting the base plate. The grab bar came with no instructions, and my unit may have needed some hardware to mount the upper bars to it.

The remotes work within a user range commensurate with the heater’s heating range.

The unit heats up quickly, as does the entire unit. These heaters are not designed to be near flammable items, pets, children, etc.

From what I could tell, the unit does not have a tip-over shut-off function. Tipping the unit over would take some force, but if it were placed in an outdoor setting or workshop—garage and something were to happen to fall on it and tip it over, it could cause some issues.

The heater works as advertised, but like any other portable heater, caution needs to be exercised. Other units with safety features may not require as much caution. Use common sense and caution when using this heater.

I got this patio heater because I live in Florida and when it gets below 60 degrees I’m cold. I like that this heater has three heat settings comes with a remote that is easy to use. I do like the anti tip feature so it will shut off if it gets knocked over. you can also set a timer to shut it off which is nice. A nice addition to my patio .

I bought it because it has a 500W option and I’m using a power station so I needed a lower wattage outdoor heater. The advertisement shows a picture of a man in a bathtub with the Freestanding Model-A behind him heating him while he’s in the bathtub. In the book that comes with the product it states in the warning section: “DO NOT USE WITHIN REACH OF A SHOWER, BATH OR SWIMMING POOL.”. The switch on top is covered with a basic clear plastic guard to keep water out . The base is adequate and it won’t fall over easily. The handles are OK but one of the screws stripped immediately when I screwed it in so be careful with the low quality screws. It produces a good amount of heat. On the lowest setting at 500W it will heat the area about 3′ in front of it. On the highest setting I could feel the heat from about 10′ away. It should work OK if pointed toward you and within 10′. If you want something that projects heat further then consider a patio heater with a fan or a greenhouse heater with a fan. Because it’s an infrared heater it won’t work well with a fan.

I got this to use in my workshop where it doesn’t get heat from the home and gets very cold in the Winter. Usually we have to bundle up to get any work done in there, or keep hopping back to the house to catch some warmth before getting back out again. This heater worked out very well. Our workshop is not sealed so there is cold air coming in constantly, but having this heater on makes it so much more comfortable. I like that I’m able to set it up on a timer to heat up the air in the workshop before starting work. I set it on the high setting for about 15 minutes then switch to the low setting for the duration that I’m in the workshop, however I set it at 30 minute intervals in case I forget to turn it off. The heater has a small footprint and tip-over function, but I keep it far enough away from anything that the only way it tips over is if I knocked it over, lol. I have not tried it outdoors nor have any need to get it wet, so can’t comment on what happens if it got wet. All in all a great floor heater for the workshop. Recommend.

Nice size heater, powerful. Not a huge fan of the safe guard but I know it’s best to keep it on.

It took over 15 minutes just to unwrap everything. I have a feeling that it was a customer return as the base was dirty, there were no assembly instructions, and there was a TON of packing tape over the bags inside. I’m not sure how it works yet, or if I’m going to keep it as I’m not sure what screws go where.

Overall, this stand heater is a decent product for its price. One of the standout features is its remote control, which operates effectively from a fair distance. The touch-responsive buttons make it convenient to adjust settings, and it impresses with its rapid heating capabilities, especially appreciated during chilly winters.

The brightness of the heater’s light is remarkable, almost akin to basking in sunlight, which adds a cozy ambiance to the room. Assembly was relatively straightforward, except for the safety bar at the top. Mounting it securely proved to be a bit of a challenge due to the stubborn screws that were difficult to tighten.

Although I haven’t utilized the timer function yet, it’s a handy addition for scheduling heating sessions. With multiple heat settings, even the lowest setting emits a noticeable warmth from several feet away, ensuring comfort wherever you are in the room. Overall, despite some minor assembly issues, this stand heater performs admirably and provides excellent value for its price.
