This product was bigger and sturdier than I expected. Once you have it put together, it doesn’t seem like it was ever a do it yourself kind of piece of furniture. It’s very sturdy and heavy. It looks quality and holds a lot.

Great looking bookcase for the price and greenguard gold certification. The instructions were ikea-like and a little difficult to follow but I figured it out. (The instructions for other davinci baby furniture pieces, like the matching dresser, are more clear.) The very bottom of this bookcase feels loose once assembled, but not so much that I think it will be a problem in use.

Ordered this for my daughter’s room. Nice quality, good finish, and contrary to other’s claims, it was EASY to assemble. It does require 3 different sizes of Phillips head screwdrivers, due to the variety of screws used for assembly. But they are the only tools needed. It was easier to assemble than many of the IKEA products we have. The interior packaging was sturdy and protective, which was critical, because the box was handled and delivered by the USPS. It arrived 3 days late and looked like it had gone through a war; lots of exterior box damage. We are pleased with this bookcase. I would NOT order any more pieces for shipment, if they continue to be handled and delivered by the USPS. This product traveled from CA to MI, and I was very concerned over the condition of the box when it arrived. I believe a better carrier is needed.

This is a heavy and very sturdy bookcase/shelf. I love the color! I have the mini crib and 4 drawer dresser to go with this and also bought the bed rails that will turn my mini crib into a twin bed eventually. Very nice furniture and well worth the money spent.
