I love that these aren’t perfectly sealed. It allows aeration and water filtration. I added colored rocks on the bottom for fun. I have Haworthia and string of hearts in one, and string of dolphins and lithops in another

I couldn’t put plants in it because as others have said that It leaks.However it is very attractive and well priced that I simply put shelves in it instead of plants.

My daughter is massively into plants. And I don’t have any horizontal surface suitable for plants, so we went vertical and it’s been great! Even though it’s a hanging planter, it does leak a little. Well maybe that’s just mine? That can be mitigated though, with technique. We use a pipette to water the succulents less at a time, and more often then one would normally water them, but that prevents water settling in the planter. With that we haven’t had any rotting of the plants. It is an antique brass color for those wondering. When I was looking at the pics I couldn’t really tell what type of “gold” it would be. Minus one star because of the leaking, other wise we love it.

This is NOT for real plants, and I wouldn’t recommend putting any sort of sand in it. The edges and bottom are not sealed, if you water your plant, water will leak out with sand and soil EVERY WHERE! I ended up having to go out and buy silicon and seal every single edge and bottom before I could use it for plants. Over all its pretty but it is NOT as advertised.

UPDATED: Scored D for reliable reviews on Fakespot app!!!! I had a few ideas of use for this including placing my 3 small fake colorful cactus plants that I got as part of my bday present along with a few small live plants (do great w/cactus plants but flower plants not so much); however, it leaks from all the soldering points at each point of the hexagon. That’s very disappointing for me. Glass panes had scratches on it right out of the box that are visible & touchable. Also, the real measurements are: 2.5″ D x 5.75 W x 10.5 L with chain. So if I do keep it, only fake plants for this one! Get what you pay for but only one I could afford at the moment.

A little smaller than I originally thought they would be, but they work great. Only thing I would recommend is a way to remove and reapply hanging chain, so consumers can use as a center piece too.

Product is made to look like it comes with all the accessories in so much as showing all the pictures of the accessoeis on the box without stating they aren’t included. In truth, this is just a cheap glass container on a chain. There is nothing else included. Don’t fall for this fraudulent garbage. Better to just shop at the dollar store.

Misleading packaging. It’s cute, but doesn’t include anything but the terrarium. I thought I was buying a kit. My idea was that my kids would help design the plants, moss, etc for my mom while we visited for the holidays. And she could bring home the creation and remember the experience. So it’s a bit misleading and disappointing. You’re gonna have to buy everything else separately.
