Not high quality but sufficient for my home office space. Get yourself a power screwdriver or wear a leather glove bec there are a lot of screws. Directions were pretty good but I had to definitely pay attention and sometimes stop to figure out the pieces and placement before screwing it together. I am pretty handy but this took me about 3.5 hours.

To start, I do love the look and quality of the cabinet! This is why I was bummed when I reached the final few steps of assembly and found the manufacturer holes for the drawers were insanely misaligned and didn’t allow for the drawers to sit properly. By this time, I’m invested and excited to have the piece in my home office. I refused to disassemble and return due to the chance of receiving a similar defect so through trial and many errors I made new holes to accommodate the drawers.
All of this to say, it is a great buy for the price especially if you luck up and have everything aligned properly.

This unit is well made and the instructions were easy to follow. Takes a little time to assemble but not hours. Drawer glides work very smooth. Liked it so much we bought another one. Stacked one on top of the other. Without the casters of course. Filing drawer is well made.

When I opened the box, I almost cried. So many parts. Assembly looked impossible. Still, the instructions were straightforward, step by step. It took five hours (I’m slow) to assemble, but in the end, it looked just like its picture, and the drawers opened and closed effortlessly. I have a very heavy color laser printer/scanner on top, and the sturdy unit is holding it just fine. All in all, we are very pleased. The only tool needed was a Phillips head screwdriver. Hint — an electric screwdriver would have eased and sped up the assembly.

I will echo many of the other comments that the directions are trying at best. To put this together I would suggest first reading all the directions then watching the silent video on youtube on it (still not greatly helpful but a little) and then start putting things together. I had a few mishaps but overall got it together by myself in about 2 hours. The cabinet overall is of very good quality and looks really nice put together. It is the perfect size to put my all-in-one printer on the top and store normal documents in the file folder draw (love that feature).

So for a long time I was looking for a filing cabinet that also had some type of storage on it but nothing too big because I have a very small bedroom, I finally found this on Amazon so I went through the reviews and seemed pretty good for the most part so I gave it a try. I’m really glad that I did because it fits perfectly next to my dresser in the corner and has just enough room for all my personal stuff, there’s only two small things about it, I wish it was slightly taller and it personally took me way longer to build with and most of the reviews mentioned, I saw that it took most people about two hours but it actually took me four hours, now I do have to mention that I did it all by myself so no one helped and I did it while taking my time watching TV so I was probably going much slower than most, also for the most part the instructions are pretty good but there were a couple of parts that confused me causing me to set it up wrong two different times then having to take it apart to fix it which set me back a bit. The hardest part for me was the metal sliders that the drawers and the filing cabinet go onto, it took me a while to figure out how they go on but once everything was coming together it became kind of easy. So overall as long as you have time and patience than I would definitely recommend this but if you get frustrated easily then you’ll be better off buying something that’s already put together.

I have bought various pieces of furniture like this, and I’m the most disappointed in this piece. I feel like it should’ve been priced more around $60. It looks better quality than what it is, so as long as no one actually puts their hand on it, they won’t know any different. It is not sturdy, and it wouldn’t have been difficult to improve the design. The drawers definitely do not align properly once assembled, and I went over everything twice. The only really nice thing is the grooves in the shelf that can be moved, that’s a nice touch.
The backside of mine will be visible from under the desk I’m pairing it with, so I painted them black. Definitely an improvement. All I used was basic craft acrylic paint. Just make sure your strokes are in the same direction, and use plenty of paint to cover the whole thing while they are still wet, or the marks might show. It gave it a little more of a wood look, at least.
Note that this cabinet does NOT lock. My mistake, not the company. Not really worried about it, just very disappointed that it isn’t more sturdy and the predrilled holes are off.. it makes me a little nervous about using it for much. 🙁 It would have been a nice cabinet if properly made.
