As with all power tools keep them clean especially the nail tension slider so it maintains the proper pressure on nail magazine some light oil on slider keeps action smooth

I was surprised at how loud the nailer is, it seems to wind up when first turned on but when nailing it is quiet. A Rigid nailer is mouse quiet so this is not expected – my problem is I am stuck with the wide range of tools that Dewalt offers and I don’t want different batteries.
