I purchased this cutting tool to use with a grinding wheel specifically for equine hoof maintenance. It works well and is heavy duty but the speed is not variable and almost too powerful to be used for this level of precision work. Will be trying the Bosch 12V for trim work and will keep this DeWalt for projects around the house and barn.

La usé para ranurar la pared para una instalación eléctrica y ampliar los agujeros del techo para instalar botes integrales para lámparas de 4”.

Has LED to help light the work surface. Tool can change direction when needed and has a removable guard for close clean cutting.

For the size, 3 inch disc, and the money we use it all the time, it’s handy, light and quick for small jobs. we use it to cut and grind metal, it turns both ways so you can throw the sparks away from your face, if it slows down just put a new battery in it, I have 2 so yes they are good, We have a trucking business so we have heavy use, it’s not just a hobby tool, it works good!

I needed something to cut faux stone. Tried with a straight saw but could not control blade and saw would break or chip tile.
This works great to make great cuts. And was also able to trim trex I already had installed. All my tools are dewalt so fits in well.

Small package but quite powerful. It uses 3” diameter blades with 3/8” arbor, which are somewhat difficult to find. It is easily maneuverable, and has an excellent brake feature that stops the blade once you’re done with your cut; which is a small detail, but really let’s you move faster as opposed to waiting for a classic grinder having to wind down. It doesn’t come with a bag or any storage, so you’ll have to figure that out.
