I have used this for woodcarving and for cutting cultured concrete stone veneer. It is well balanced, comfortable to hold and an ease to handle. I can easily change lead hands as the handle and guard are a snap to adjust.

I’ve only had it a week but it works great. I wish it had the lock on feature though cause I have nerve damage in my hands

Well built and loads of power just as expected
VOTO –
This grinder is a beast. I use it daily. I am a professional welder. Unreal power. Better than a metabo

Dewalt has done a great job with the ergonomics and power output of this grinder. It’s very well balanced and allows for proper tool control in its design. A trigger lock would be a bonus but certainly isn’t needed due to the trigger effort being reduced relative to other designs and manufacture’s.

This grinder made an intolerable high pitched screech even with no load. I downloaded an AP to see how loud in was. It hit 106.3 decibels. I sent it back. I own 5 other Dewalt angle grinders that have given me no problems.
(I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because of ergonomics and power although without heavy duty ear muffs it is not usable.)

Needed 5”/6” to saw concrete and brick…more depth per cut than with my 5.5” Dewalt offset grinder. I use diamond masonry blades and works like a charm.

This thing is a monster!! Love the kick back brake

I love the brushless motor and safety features, such as 1 second blade brake if it jams. Also the trigger switch is great as I have seen people drop grinders with a switch and that can be very dangerous. The lanyard capability is also great when working at heights.

I’ve been using Dewalt grinders for years and I’ve always liked them the most out of the lot. Saw this new one and I had to pick up this brushless one and it’s well worth the price.
Its about 2.5″ longer then the standard 6″ 9000RPM grinder they offer but with that being said it’s not that noticeable and the extra leverage isn’t a bad idea. The electric brake is very fast, even with the wire wheel on which is plus when in a hurry. The lanyard attachment is strong and a cool add on especially if your around working at heights where it’s required.
Power wise it has a lot, I can push hard enough to activate the clutch but it takes quite a bit and the anti kickback is a nice feature! No more locked on Discs that require a vice to remove ha! One more mention it also has green light on the top side of the body when it’s plugged in as well which I didn’t notice in the description.
The 2 cons of the tool is the cord and no lock button for the trigger.
The cord is super stiff, I know it’s still new but in the cold it’s damn annoying since it’s even stiffer. Replacing it with a 12′ one anyway.
Locking trigger would be awesome to have, if Dewalt added that it’d make this tool that much better.

Incredibly light and powerful. Love the stopping feature on this. I definitely would recommend this to somebody who’s looking for a grinder of the size.

I have had almost every brand of grinder, this is the best i have found for cutting. i cut a lot of metal with 6″ zip wheels…that job is the hardest on an angle grinder….its heat …thats the killer,so with a brushless motor it runs cooler also the 9000 rpm helps ,so your grinder will last longer..this is my 5th DEWALT DWE43265N ..great grinder.

Lots of torque, very durable, very comfortable to grip and it’s effective across a wider range of wheel/blade sizes than any other grinder I’ve used. Stone mason here, – We’ve cut hundreds of feet of bluestone and pavers with it the last two years – it’s my daily driver. It’s been, dropped, rained on, gotten hot, eaten tons of stone and concrete dust and hasn’t lost any performance, except the trigger safety broke. It’s called a 5-6 inch but with the torque it has it barely slows down from 9000 rpm with smaller blades so it’s fast enough under load for a 4 inch, and with a 7 inch blade it seems to spin just as fast under load as a full size 7 inch grinder so I honestly see no weaknesses with this thing. Worth the high price.
