I love the locking mechanism. I often got frustrated with other pairs that if you open them too much, they can slip into the wrong groove. These are the only channel lock pliers I will use now!

These things are beefy tough, with great comfy handles and grippy jaws. Bonus is the locking feature to keep in place when adjusted. No idea why I waited so long to replace the cheap piece of junk I’ve been using all these years.
