I really like this toolbox. It has more room than I need. I also love that it fits 2 drills and a charger in the bottom tray.

This is an amazing toolbox.
There are two main components, which can be separated and carried individually. This is important, because the toolbox is quite large and if you’ve got it full of stuff, it will be heavy – the ability to separate the two main compartments is important.
There are lots of great little compartments, especially in the top piece. Great for small tools, miscellaneous hardware parts, etc.
The entire product is made of plastic, apart from parts of the handle and some of the clasps. Seems sturdy enough

Perfect size and fits everything I pretty much use on a daily basis. Built to last. Dewalt is my go to for tools and storage. I recommend this toolbox to anyone in Home improvement.

I bought this Dewalt toolbox in 2020, nearly 4 years ago. Primarely, I use it to keep my house tolls organized. These are my insights:
1. WHAT IS THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT?
– As a mentioned in the title, this tool box is built as a tank. High quality plastic, which has a flex to it, is extremely hard to damage. The hinges and the carring handle are extremely strong. The amount of tools I have weigh over 30 lb.
2. HOW DOES THIS PRODUCT PERFORM?
– There are two parts to this toolbox. The top smaller part, which is detachable by pressing a side button, I use for small, easy to find tools. Inside the top part, there is a compartment that you can close, where you can keep tiny tools or parts, that you don’t want to mix with the other tools. Also in that top part, there are 3 dividers. The bottom part, which is deep, I use for larger heavier tools. Photos are attached.
3. IS THE PRODUCT EASY TO USE?
– Extremely easy to use and to open up. Once you place the top part on the bottom one, it locks itself. And the aluminum handle makes it extremely easy to carry around, or to put in your truck.
4. IS THE PRODUCT A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY?
– The best, because it can really last you a lifetime.
5. WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO YOU?
– Absolutely. There are not a lot of things I need to think about a toolbox – it needs to serve a purpose, to be rugged, and it needs to withstand a serious beating. This one does it all.

Latches are a bit stiff, but its a great power tool, tool box. I put my power tools in the bottom and keep my batteries in the top with a charger. For the price, its hard to beat it.

I love this thing, it’s big and sturdy and not expensive. You should know though that it in no way nests with the T-STAK system, and it’s got a big old yellow handle for the smaller compartment that sticks out. Not a square profile with that jutting out. HOWEVER: unlike one review I read, the compartments separate easily with the push of a button – I think the guy who was having problems was trying to pull it. Overall this is a sweet chunky toolbox.

The tool is really well made and has a surprising amount of space inside. I like that it has a smaller closed box inside where I can carry my bits. If I had an option to compartmentalize the lower box, it could have been a game changer. The removal of the top box is slightly tricky and always gets me. But, I am not a handyman by any means.
Overall it’s a good box and very well made.

Ample space to hold drill and driver in top along with various drills and bits. Bottom handles another tool (or two) batteries/charger, and much more.
I really like that it separates and I can use the top by itself when I just need the drill.

Rugged performance. Large enough to carry a cordless drill, spare batteries & associated accessories. For more complex requirements I rely on the DEWALT Toughsystems/TStak cases. This Tool Tote (DWST24070) fits nicely under the shelving units & the work bench.

TL;DR It’s a durable, spacious, convenient mid sized tool tote and great for the price. No complaints.
I work in new construction as a plumber. I was tired of digging through my Husky tool backpack setup. I would have to unzip, dig through the bottom just to find my tape measure or bits or what have you.
I looked around quite a bit for an open-faced style tray like this, but couldn’t find anything suitable. My other challenge was getting it to fit inside my locking storage bin on the work truck so I could leave my things locked up at night instead of having to lug my tools home every night.
This tote is durable, spacious and seems to be high quality. The bottom tote portion fits all my hand tools (quite a bit like hammer, levels, two tapes, 3 crimp tools, a battery charger, square and room for a good bit more).
The top case portion holds my impact with a battery on it, a 5 amp battery, a Dewalt bit set case, and a single bay battery charger perfectly. The fact that it snaps to the top and disconnects with one hand makes it super convenient and a breeze to use.
The handle is a little on the large side, but is very sturdy and sort of slides into a locked position while carrying it so you don’t have to work about the tote spilling or tipping.
If you’re on the fence about this thing, I say just give it a try. I love it. Especially if you’re in a trade where you have many tools to bring in and out of a job site everyday. So convenient and nice. Another plus is all my tools are Dewalt so it matches 😎.
