It’s very high quality, as soon as I open the box I was shocked with the quality of this telescope. Loved the way it looks and performance. I have some high brand telescopes too but this one is the best. Very easy to adjust. The focus was great. The instructions were pretty straightforward.

 I found this telescope to be an excellent buy for the price, and easy enough to use for my kids to pick up and go with it with some help on the setup.
The packaging is superb. Everything is secured well, the delicate parts are encased in a nice form-fitting foam, and bound by plastic to keep parts from moving around in transit. The outer carton was very durable as well, was quite protected during transport.
Setup time for the telescope was about 30 minutes to get it together, dialed in, and to understand everything. It was rather easy with the visual instructions. The base is solid, has a good weight to it, and it is easy to understand all the adjustable points.
Usage of the telescope was easy. The ability to dial in the focus easily was well appreciated, helped immensely when trying to teach my children how to use it. They were in awe when I was able to dial in on the moon and see some vivid craters and mountains. They have always had an interest in exploring the cosmos but took quite a bit more here after the recent eclipse.
If you want something that is easy to setup, easy to take down, and relatively easy to use — this is a fantastic piece. The quality is great for a professional-home unit, and the additional little features (such as the phone mount) are a wonderful value-add.

I purchased this EQ telescope for my son and myself because we share curiosity about sky. Telescope provides enjoyment for all age group. Setting it up takes a while if you are new to world of telescope but manual is comprehensive with detailed instruction with pictures.
Using it now, we are thrilled to observe moon’s surface, craters and Saturn’s ring. Telescope quality is very good with great stability. It comes with Phone adapter.

 * This telescope is great fun and adventure for everyone in the house.
* Kids with curiosity like my daughter love this.
* It helps them explore the sky more and get ready for their questions.
* I am not technical or very well aware of astronomical facts but once you set it up this is great fun and does not need many adjustments.
* Its assembly is around 40-60 mins and the manual comes with very well-explained steps with pictures.
* It looks heavy and it is compared to small telescopes.
* Tripod is very stable and strong and stays very well while you using the telescope.
* You can adjust telescope angles to very precise degree angles.
* It also has a phone adapter if you want to take pictures of the moon or stars.
** If you have a bigger car take this with you on vacations to mountains or beaches and enjoy the better views at night from there as compared to cities. We are planning to take it to the mountains during our Christmas holidays.

My husband is a space fanatic. We watched him from the minute he opened the box and he was so excited. He is still excited and moves the telescope quite easily to view any planet and star. I caught a sight of the moon recently and I must say this telescope has not disappoint. I saw the craters on the moon and was very very excited about that. He is still enjoying the telescope. It is sturdy and very professional looking. It is not cumbersome and I like the idea of using my phone as well to snap pictures of whatever I am viewing. He is more than pleased.

To dive deeper into this newfound interest, I decided to purchase the EQ-150P telescope. The kit arrived with many pieces, but assembling the kit was straightforward, although it did require some careful reading of the instructions to ensure everything was put together correctly.

We’re brand new to astronomy, and learning to use a telescope does take a fair amount of practice and patience, but the effort pays off and has been so exciting! We have been able to view the surface of the moon, Saturn’s rings, and Jupiter with some of its moons! Incredible and so thrilling for our kids who are currently studying the solar system. Much easier to view if you also attach a phone or camera, which also allows you to zoom in even closer.
