I got my Camera last year and was waiting to do a review and let me tell you..I’m impressed by its compact design. Its small size makes it incredibly portable and easy to carry, perfect for on-the-go filming.
When it comes to video performance, the Action4 excels, particularly in indoor settings. The video quality is exceptional, delivering clear and vibrant images with excellent color accuracy. Whether filming in low light or well-lit environments, the camera maintains high-quality visuals, making it versatile for various indoor shoots.

As a Diehard GoPro user, This thing blew me away in terms of quality, battery life and overall performance. Spare batteries aren’t overly expensive and they last a long time. I go out for rides with this thing attached to my helmet and have it on and recording constantly. 4K 60fps on a single battery is about 2 straight hours of recording.. amazing battery life. This thing also handles low light better than anything I’ve ever used, especially with D-LOG M enabled. Would buy again 10/10 no complaints.

I have used it for a while now and this is what the actio2 and 3 should have looked like. It doesnt have heat problems, nor focus problems, it has a good battery life time and records with good quality – using H265, 4k@60 fps.

I purchased this primarily to use on my e-bike trips. I have used the Action 4 with a helmet mount, a chest mount, and a handlebar mount. In each case the image quality of the 4K video has been great with image stabilization that is rock steady and free from artifacts. The exposure is spot on, colors are vibrant and realistic, I.e. not oversaturated. It is relatively easy to switch between photo and video mode, and the built in mics do such a good job of capturing good sound that I rarely use my DJI mic with the camera. Battery life of 1.5 hrs has exceeded my expectations.
There are some improvements that DJI needs to make to the Action 4. The power button on the side is small, difficult to find by touch, and has to be pressed hard to turn the camera on or to switch modes. The voice command work well, but must be said precisely. For example “take photo” works, but “take a photo” does not. While there is a voice command to turn off the Action 4, there is no voice command turn it on. The plastic cage that DJI ships with the Action 4 provides minimal protection and requires that the camera be removed from the cage to insert either a battery or a microSD card. It is neither easy or straightforward to open the battery compartment or the access the microSD card slot.

Comienzo comentando que estuve a nada de regresar la cámara, debido a los malos comentarios que tiene en las reseñas y quise permitirme comprobar todo lo que mencionan por mi propia cuenta.
les comento que muchos indican que la cámara se apaga a los 5 minutos de estar funcionando. si y no, la cámara no se apaga, se apagan las pantallas pero no deja de grabar. es una función que incluso se puede modificar en los ajustes de la cámara, es solo una manera de ahorrar batería.
La puse a grabar a sus máximas calidades, para comprobar que no se apagara incluso con los casi 40° de temperatura que hace en mi localidad, y la cámara se calienta lo normal, nada que alarmarse y tampoco por ese motivo dejo de grabar o se apagó.
otra de las cosas es que muchos indican que se congela la toma o se corta la grabación, eso solo ocurre si le colocas una tarjeta micro sd que no sea la correcta, la propia cámara menciona las que son compatibles y le funcionan mejor, yo le coloqué una sandisk Extreme Pro de 64 y me ha ido bastante bien.
Cosas que debo resaltar, La calidad excepcional de la imagen, muy nítida incluso haciendo zoom digital, se distorsiona muy poco, es una cámara muy rápida en cuanto a desplazamiento en sus pantallas, su configuración es sencilla e intuitiva y la propia cámara te va ayudando poco a poco. Es una cámara super elegante, la calidad de sus materiales es impresionante, es discreta, es ligera, y el sistema de anclaje rápido con imanes es mas funcional de lo que parece. La batería es cosa de otro mundo, dura lo suficiente y necesario para sacar muchas buenas capturas.
cosas que la verdad aun puede mejorar, las tomas con poca iluminación, sin embargo es superior que otras cámaras.
les invito a que le den una buena oportunidad a la cámara, de intentar llevarla al extremo obviamente con los requerimientos que la misma cámara solicita y que no se dejen llevar por cualquier comentario.
De mi parte estoy mas que feliz de haber realizado esta compra.
