DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Vlogging Camera

I Love how small and cute it is! The video and photo quality is amazing! JUST BUY IT you wont regret it! It is very sturdy; I would recommend getting a screen protector and the Lexar Professional 256 micro mini card the silver series it works well after formatting of course. The problem with these cameras in the past is that, while they were great all rounders, they didn’t seperate themselves from action cams for stablilization, or the latest iphone for image quality. This Pocket 3 does! The 1 inch sensor elevantes its video quality far beyond what an iPhone can do, and the gimbal offers stablization far in excess of the best action cams (and the image quality is on a different planet).

DJI clearly took their time in developing this and didn’t release until it was perfect in every category. It’s expensive but it’s the perfect vlogging or all round handy video camera. The audio is great (and the mic included in the creator combo is even better, as it uses 32bit float). The big screen makes for a perfect user interface. Its software is great as it works wonderfully for the begininer, but also has pro features and so you can choose your own usage style.

Overall, this is the first camera of its kind that is a must buy. It will kill the Sony ZV range (and I’m saying this as a Sony user, a7iv etc). This is a no brainer.

 I haven’t put it down since I received it! It is so easy to use and I don’t consider myself tech savvy. The quality is amazing and it is very small light and compact it fits in any small bag even a small Fanny pack! It comes with the protector case that helps to carry anywhere and keep safe. Only downside was using the app to download directly into your iPad or phone but it’s easy trick to fix the issue putting the devices on airplane mode. Overall 10/10

I picked this up at the last min before leaving on a month long trip. I also had with me two Sony cameras. In the end I used the Pocket 3 for 90% of everything we shot as it just works great. battery life is very good. we walked 5 to 6 hours a day shooting turning it on and off hundreds of time with zero problems.
I shot over 1TB of 4k video with it I need to edit into many different videos. Its so small and easy to use. Most people do not even know you are video shooting as it dose not look like a camera. I also shot some still images and they look very good as well. Very glad I got this before the trip and will be using it all the time. To just stand in one place and have it pan from left to right or up and down pressing the button is so smooth no tripod or video head needed like you would need for a camera. The gimbal head makes shooting so much more smooth. Shooting at night I was very impressed as the video is very clean so I shot with it at night in many towns we went to in and outdoors. I have to say it is the most versatile little video camera to use.

Es una excelente cámara para grabar video. No la recomiendo tanto para fotografía por varios motivos. Solo tiene un lente y no se pueden hacer fotos en modo retrato con efecto bokeh, tiende a contrastar mucho las imágenes y usualmente los negros se ven demasiado intensos y no dejan ver los detalles. No me encanta que el modo panoramico solo funciona en horizontal y para hacer una selfie panorámica solo se puede hacer en formato 3:3 si la cámara pudiera rotarse podrías tomar fotos panorámicas de edificios muy altos pero no es así. El menú no es el más fácil de usar y de repente es confuso saber como manejar el joystick en conjunto con la pantalla para aplicar sus funciones. Una vez más, la fotografía no es su fuerte. Para video es otra cosa, logra imagenes casi tan buenas en video como un iPhone 15Pro pero con la ventaja de que no saturas tu teléfono si lo usas para un viaje. Es ligera, fácil de manipular y en modo automático resuelve bien en la gran mayoría de situaciones. No me encanta tampoco la maletita transportadora, no protege bien la cámara ni los accesorios porque van muy apretados y el puerto usb de los accesorios podrían verse dañados con el tiempo. Los micrófonos de la cámara como el DJI mic que viene incluido con el paquete de creadores son de sus principales atributos y la hacen muy superior al grabar audio. La batería le dura muy poco y para grabar clips durante una tarde tal vez sea suficiente pero no más allá. Debe usarse sí o sí con la batería del mango y eso la hace un poco estorbosa aunque sigue siendo funcional y portatil. La recomiendo en terminos generales, es una chulada y aunque no es perfecta vale cada peso.
