Worked exactly as expected. Helped me get my toddlers toothbrush that went down the drain. It is a bit hard to push it down but it has a great grip

Somone dropped a cap down my drain so it was backed up and slowly draining plus anything behind it like hair was also getting caught . It took me a few minutes with a little finesse and it got everything out. The button is a little hard to push, i didnt have an issue but my 70 y/o mom might have a little trouble needing hand strength. I found that if you dont fully retract the claw while pulling stuff out, it can get the bigger stuff. I enjoyed using it lol.

This thing saved me a plumber bill. Removed gunk from a sink drain like a charm. Pro tip: Wear gloves! Get disposable gloves because you probably aren’t going to like what comes out of your drain. The tool feels kind of cheap, but it works. If you have grip strength issues this is going to be a hard tool for you to use. You may have to ask someone with better grip strength to help you get the job done. I threw away the plastic drain snake looking thing that comes with this. It seemed like cheap plastic and I didn’t want it to break apart and get stuck in my drain.

Accidentally sucked up a cat toy with the vacuum hose yesterday, which then got stuck in the hose. Immediately ordered this, which arrived today, and I was able to use it to retrieve the cat toy!
The only negative of this tool is that the plunger to activate the grabber is difficult to depress, so you do need decent hand strength to use it.
I’ll definitely be keeping this for future problems of this nature! I also appreciate that it was a relatively cheap fix for my problem, and once it got a grip on the toy it was a good grip, and the tool is very sturdy, so I had no concerns over it breaking, and you can pull pretty hard on it to dislodge whatever you’re trying to dislodge.

Our bathroom sink has been draining slow for over a month. I tried draino, the snake, I even unscrewed the stopper( which was a bad idea as that made the drainage problem worse). Nothing worked. Today my hubby used this and removed 4 toothpaste caps, hair, a toothbrush holder and a penny. Now the sink drains like new.
We learned our lesson and put the stopper back was well as a drain guard.
