I remember in the late 80s may be early 90s. Seeing an older student of my guitar teacher with a Floyd rose equipped guitar with awesome florescent green strings. 💚 I think it was the coolest thing I ever did see 👀. My old man wouldn’t buy them for me. But I recently saw these for sale, and remembered back to that awesome guitar thirty some years ago. I bought them, and they’re cool looking, but kinda kill the brightness. The other guitarist in my band likes them, but he normally thinks my guitar is too bright. Make no mistake, this is the heaviest coating I’ve ever seen on strings.

Like folks used to say, you need your greens!!! And they deliver. They will fade on the pick side after some abuse but not everyone plays 9min songs of non stop shredding!!!

These are a great pair of strings. All around great for performances or just jamming out. Would recommend these to any guitarist who plays any form of metal. The coating on the strings do leave a little residue but can easily be wiped off with a soft cloth

Sehr harte Saiten zu straff und halten schlecht die Stimmung. Für eine Gitarre die nur an der Wand hängt bestimmt spitze. Zum spielen nicht zu empfehlen.für den Preis überleg ich nächsten mal länger ob ich mir wieder bunte Saiten bestell.

Love these strings, they’re very smooth but they do feel alitte plasticy but it’s just the coating, for the bands I play in with UV lighting these look great onstage.

Tengo una guitara con 7 cuerdas, no la uso mucho porque de ves en cuando perdi la orientacion (cual es la 5ta, cual la 6ta??? ayu…. ya, demasiado tarde…).
Siempre piense que necesito cuerdas de color para la quinta y la sixta. Ahora hay, lamentablemente no se venden uno por uno, solo en set completo. Tenia que comprar 3 sets para tener las buenas cuerdas en diferentes para la 5ta y la sixta, y decidi de marcar la tercera tambien, porque esa de ves en cuando se me escapa tambien con la de 7 cuerdas. Se ven tambien en luz normal. Preguntan me en una otra ves lo que pienso de la cualidad, es que mis dos guitaras preferidas tienen solo 6 cuerdas y ya esas son selosas porque no les uso y trato absolutamente igual…

I really like these strings. They not only sound good, but the LOOK good. I put them on my HB BS20BK (Warlock-style, black electric guitar) and it went from cool to the COOLEST! The high-contrast green against the black background of the body makes these strings pop. Good tone and finger action as well. One note: the smaller, non-wound strings will see some of the coating flake off when hit hard with a pick, but I expected that and it’s doesn’t look that bad. I recommend these and will get more to dress up my Epiphone SG Special, Samrick Telecaster and my other two electric guitar as well.

I was pleasantly surprised by these. First I opened the package and I couldn’t believe just how vibrant the coating was, it reflects a lot of light! Secondly the tone was just fine, the strings felt a little less slick to my fretting hand but I got used to it very quickly (feels like you’re fretting a plastic string than a slick metal, no issues though). The sound coming out was great and they are actually extremely durable, I left them on for several months with no issues! They reflect well under black light and are easy to see, plus they gave my guitar some unique style. I would definitely buy again.

If you look at the small e string or sting 1 I attuned this one time and the coating started chipping! I will be going back to the super slinky strings as these do NOT hold up! They look good if you don’t play your guitar but that is about it!
