I like that I can use in bathroom when taking shower. My home is 1 room + small bathroom cottage in back yard of main house. Heats whole tiny house quickly. Chilly So. CAL nights set temp at 71 auto at rotate and keeps temp comfortable with blankets over me all night. Easy to clean filter in back. Keep on a low stool. Very easy to use. Has remote control so no need to get up. Better quality than other heaters I have had. I believe would easily warm up bigger areas. It really kicks butt at higher temps. Simple very attractive bronze and black exterior and uses very little space. Controls are recessed on top of unit which is flat. All I do is touch easy to understand symbols on top. When not in use just unplugged and put hand towel over to keep dust free. Another great feature when turned off runs for 30 seconds with digital reading in front that counts down. There are cheaper heaters that I have used but this heater is by far best one I have ever used. Worth the extra $$. The only downside no humidifier or air cleaner combined. This is a wonderful compact electric ceramic heater with fan. Has easy grip handle to pick it up. Light weight. Approx 6 foot cord and special plug for bathroom use. I love it.

I looked through tons of options over multiple days to get a good solution for my small bathroom, after years of trying other things and not getting the full result I wanted of a warmer bathroom in the winter. I don’t want to install any permanent fixture and I wanted something portable so I could use it elsewhere and put it away when I don’t need it. I don’t want to run central heat, getting the whole place too hot when I just want the bathroom warm and hothouse hot. This seems to be as perfect as you can get.

The remote: I notice there is some controversy about having the remote at all. Well, there is a competitor with the ALCI plug and they don’t have the remote (or oscillation) so get that one (the white one). I love the remote and think it is an essential safety element. If I just washed my hands or got out the shower, I’m staying away from the unit and the outlet and using the handy remote. If I’m in the other room and want to preheat the room or otherwise control the unit I can.

The three intensity modes offer plenty of heat options. However the fan speed is set for each, in increasing speed with increased heat. So the low heat is low fan and so on. There is also a fan only no heat mode which iirc is the low or middle fan speed and is not controllable.

For everyone complaining about standing too close to this hurting your legs, that is where the feature some may declare pointless comes in: oscillation. I thought it was pointless too until I realized, dripping wet, oh I can just use the remote to oscillate it to face the airflow behind me and stop it there. I also have used oscillation to finish drying clothes by hanging them on the shower rod, a winter essential as the dryer is outside and struggles to dry heavy fabrics when it’s cold.

I would advise people get a small stool or dolly if you’re going with a floor placement, for added water protection. You will probably want this lower as obviously heat rises. This is indeed too hot once it gets warmed up if you’re within 1-2 feet of it. 3-5ft is the ideal zone for a nice blast of heat.

I haven’t used the temperature mode a lot yet but I will be trying it out more, so I can preheat the bathroom or hold it at certain temps. At H3 high heat, the whole 8ft x 8ft room is toasty in less than 15 minutes. H1 low will keep it pleasant if I run it continuously and keep the door shut. H2 middle is a great way to get the chill out quickly but not scorch myself if the room got cold.

My design suggestions: a MAGNET on the back of the remote and a better remote hiding spot on the device as the cleft for holding it does fit the remote but awkwardly.

Overall, I’m glad I got this. It has actually improved my quality of life and I already recommended it to two friends.

…I had given this product a one star review, because it kept turning off, emitting an electrical burning odor, and exhibiting an “FF” (overheat error code) after only 30 days of use. My bad…A close inspection of the removable rear panel revealed that trapped airborne dust was preventing proper air intake. Once I rinsed the panel under running water, the unit has resumed proper operation. Because I vacuum the use area weekly, I assumed it was not necessary to check the rear filter. Obviously, incorrect. The scary thing is there’s obviously that much airborne dust in my work area! Anyway, back to 5 stars, because this unit does generate great heat, and I don’t want to unfairly penalize the vendor.

I needed a small heater for my bathroom. I had very limited space so it had to be very compact. I love that all of the controls are right on the top so I don’t need to pick it up to see the controls like on the one I have in my office, which has controls on the sides. This one works great to heat my small space very quickly. It does not tip over easily and it has a very nice clean design. It looks like it’s going to be easy to keep clean because of that. In addition to the controls I’ll be on on top of the unit, it also comes with a remote control. I can see how that would be handy if I was using this heater in another room. The heater could be placed under a desk or a distance away, and could be turned on or off without effort in that case. I highly recommend this if you need a Stable small heater. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this one again for another room.

Nice little heater. I keep my house temp set to about 64-65 degrees overnight. When I get up for work this little heater easily warm my 6*8 bathroom and It will also heat my 12*12 bedroom without having to heat up the whole house. It’s worth a try. Compact in size, about 6*6 square.

nice size, rotates well, remote control is great. wire does not get hot ’cause it supports a gfi plug – that’s the best reason to purchase this model. running noise is very low even at high speed; it is noticeable when it turns on but not noticeable while running. when leaving the space, i turn it off at the gfi plug at the outlet to kill the trickle current that stays on when powered off with remote or on the keypad. the temperature control function is called by the manufacturer ‘eco mode’; when combined with the timer it works well during the night without worry. it heats well a small office/room like with a lot of windows or drafts; it is a good little unit. it is expensive, i got it on an after xmas discount offer. i would give it 5 stars if it offered two range of swing arcs instead of one wide arc on the rotate mode but that is being so picky of me; this is a nice unit.

This heater works perfectly for my bathroom. It heats that space very quickly and then maintains an even temperature.
