I have used a couple of similar items I purchased at Home Depot. This is much cheaper and with the six pack I figured I’d replace them more often. Unfortunately these didn’t work any where near as well as the more expensive ones. They seemed more brittle than the store brand. They push the fact that these are longer but I couldn’t get them to go in as far. They don’t seem to bend as well around the pipe corners but yet flexed when trying to push them in the drain. I tried bot a tub and a sink drain and wasn’t able to get even close to the entire tool into the drain. After just one use a lot of the teeth were broken off. I had high hopes but in this case I guess you get what you pay for. I can’t in good faith recommend these.

I really wasn’t sure these would work and was worried about wasting money. My bathroom sink had been clogged for some time and Drano had no effect whatsoever. I had taken to using the guest bathroom as I hated how gross the sink would get after it finally drained. My mom even tried fixing the sink during one of her visits. She took the drain apart and everything and it still wouldn’t drain properly. I finally broke down and got these and oh my gosh, I wish I would have gotten them sooner. I used just one and the sink started draining almost immediately. I did throw it away after using it because they’re impossible to clean but I didn’t mind because it was much cheaper than calling a plumber.

If you’re sink is clogged then purchase these. Make sure to use gloves while you’re doing it because it can be gross. Very easy and quick to use.

Have two girls so there’s a lot of hair in the sink and drains in the showers. These were great two minutes. The drains clear ready to go for a couple months.

These things are pretty disgusting. You will pull up all sorts of nasty treasures. But they work well and you get many for a great price.

If you are grossed out by the gobs of hair sitting in the drain for weeks and getting goopy with soap and stuff, this product isn’t for you. While it seemed to be effective (it was certainly pulling up gobs of hair that I hadn’t been able to get to with tweezers or fingers), It was also messy. It required me to pull stuff off it so I could go back in for more. It left dirty water and smaller detritus in the bathtub that had to be washed away later. I’m not as grossed out by the hair clumps but even so I felt like I had to wash my hands a hundred times afterward. My drain seems to be unclogged but at what cost? Only use if you can handle the hair.
