This may be my favorite lip color I have ever tried. It’s a great dupe for Clinique black cherry and it actually stayed on all day even through lunch. I added a little aquaphor after applying and my lips stayed moist and tinted all day.

I got this as a dupe for Clinique’s black honey. It’s a beautiful color, definitely buildable. Goes on very smooth, and it’s very moisturizing. You can apply it over a matching lipstick, or wear it on its own for a more toned down subtle color. It’s versatile, I’ve found a lot of different skin tones looked lovely with this. Love it as a dupe! Would likely buy more shades.

I liked this, but it doesn’t stick with you and isn’t sheer enough to be constantly reapplying. If you have sensitive lips, be warned: this made my lips peel.

I have tried many lip balm-type-lipsticks through various makeup subscription services. Most can be streaky, cakey, thick, smeary, or colorless. Of all the brands I’ve tried, only Clinique and Flesh had seemed to crack the code. This lip balm stick is an exact dupe for the 5x as expensive Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. It doesn’t seem to smear and can be applied pretty precisely (I was trying several lipsticks at the time of pic, hence the smear around my mouth, pic is to show tint, coverage, and sheerness). The thickness is perfect, not too goopy that your hair sticks to it, not so thin that it’s like Chapstick. The coverage is great, similar to lipstick in that you can be very precise with the application and it only takes a swipe or 2 to be the color you’re looking for. Much like the Clinique version, this color is very versatile. I’m an olive toned girl with rosacea, I normally avoid reds and pinks, but this is universal enough to work on both me and my pale, blonde hair, blue eyed step mom. This also feels very nourishing on the lips.

This is even better than Clinique Black Honey lip gloss! It doesn’t cling to dry spots, like the other product does. It is a beautiful color. No sparklies!
