My wife and I are not professionals by any means but we were immediately impressed with these as soon as we tried playing them. Very sturdy, has a bit of weight to them so it feels like you are holding something. Easy to play, and requires very little force which helps you to save your breath for when you need it. Beats the heck out of the cheapy harps hands down.

These harps are pretty bad. I bought one and one of the reeds was blown out out of the box. I gave this brand a second chance and they just don’t play well. There’s no smoothness because each note practically requires it’s own breath making for choppy start and stop play. If you try to bend, it bends to the wrong note. I’ve had smoother experiences with a $10 Hot Metal. The tone is pure with barely any audible air, it’s just too bad that you have to work so hard to get to it. Spend a few more dollars and get a Hohner Big River Harp.

Who buys an F# harmonica? Me!!!! It’s great to play along with acoustic guitar. My kids love the mood it sets. Great little harmonica.

Whilst the tuning is a bit off on the lower notes and the sound quite shrill, the low cost still makes it worthwhile looking at this range of harmonicas. I needed to take a chance that this was going to be a low F# and was disappointed that it was the higher octave. The description should have indicated this.
Troy Jolley –
Looks and plays beautifully

It turns out that “cheap” harmonicas are just that. Also, if you are a singer/songwriter who plays guitar, you’ve already spent a lot of money, but you are going to want a range of harmonicas in different keys. So yeah, I tried cheap ones. Even though I was a beginner, it was apparent right away.
These are not cheap, they are simply in a category by themselves regarding the quality for the price. They are a professional grade harmonica at half the price. That’s a no brainer for me.

I had the exact same problem as prevous reviewer. Nothing wrong with the harmonica but I have a low harp in G and wanted to play a few songs in Gb. I had thought that you could get F and F#(Gb) in lower octaves but it seems like my mistake and it is an octave (less a semitone) higher than my G harmonica. Even though it is a bit squeaky I’ll be keeping it as I may find a use for it and it is good value for money so 4 stars.
