This was a great deal. I love changing the light color and turning on and off with my voice. The color of the speaker is very cute. Has a lot of accessories which I have enjoyed using to make the speaker more customizable. Sound quality is great and I can change using my voice. I play daily trivia on it and love to hear the weather in the morning.

Love my Echo Pop! Sound is so much better than the Dot and it’s nice having a color selection. I love that I can ‘voice’ the volume (up or down) whether I’m relaxing in the tub, taking a shower or curled up on the bed. I bought 2 during a sale that included the color change bulb, but haven’t tried that out yet. Also love the multiple Pops and dots can connect and ‘play music everywhere’ or make an announcement – dinner is ready.

I’m not the best at telling the minute differences in sound qualities like some people, but it sounds fantastic to me. We are on a super tiny budget, so when I saw this package of an Echo Pop + 1 Sengled RGB LED smart bulb on sale for $19.99 for Mother’s Day, I knew I had to get it. I recently returned a different brand of smart bulb because they kept having to be re-entered into our smart home app, so I’ve been quite happy with these since I haven’t had any trouble with them disconnecting from our system. The only thing I would like to see different for the smart bulb is that it would be nice if they use the color wheel system to choose which color to make the light. I’m not too disappointed with this, since I usually use our Echo Pop to control it anyway.
Long –
This is a lighter weight Amazon Echo Pop than typical Amazon Echo Dot devices. It’s easy to use but only takes your voice control in 180 degrees. If you try to talk to it on its back, then you need to increase your voice by a bit more so it can hear it. I typically set the volume to be 3-4 that’s loud enough to be used as an alarm for waking me up in the morning each day. It’s easy to use for setting up daily reminders and timers too.

I love the simplicity of this Echo Pop. It works quickly and responds well to a low conversational tone of voice. I also have an Echo Dot 5th gen, which has a slightly fuller sound. I don’t use it to listen to music but to public radio, so sound isn’t the most important factor, although voices sound a little fuller on the Dot. For general use as an Echo device, this is probably the most economical one available.
As for the smart color bulb, it works fairly well. I rotate the light colors on my front porch during the holiday season. I don’t use Echo to control it but find it easier to use the Alexa app on my iPhone. It has lost the connection once, and I had to reconnect it using the original setup procedure.

This bundle is a great deal. Not only do you get to pick one of the special color echoes but you get one of the smart lights, which is so awesome to use at night. I would only ever buy this if I need to buy another echo. The light is super easy to use when you download the app and you can literally change it any color you want. If you’re worried about the cord from the echo, definitely go by the piece that sits in the wall and holds it so you can put the cord inside, so it doesn’t look so messy.

I bought the bundle (bulb + echo pop) for just $18. Both products are great. Speaker sounds good and it processes requests relatively faster than my Google Mini (2-3 years old). Bulb is good too. Sets up easily and works with Google/Alexa/Apple without needing another app.
