Works as intended once you download their driver from what I imagine and hope is their site. Windows would not help with the driver until I downloaded it from the szedup. Since I have another adapter this one does similar in both speed and reception from the location its installed to the router so it seems to work as advertised.
*If windows doesnt seem to work for the driver you will have to download it from the site on the instruction guide inside your box.

I ordered this to update a bunch of note book
PC’s that are no longer compatible with my new
router. And I works well after getting the correct
driver.
The file name for the correct driver is not named
the same after you click the download link so. I made
sure to scan it. MS Security Advisor showed that it
came back clean. Btw The name of the file is
MT7921AU-WIN-driver when downloaded.
As I said above, it does work well but, it is a bit
bigger than I thought it would be so, sticks out
farther than I like. When used with a note book PC
you could easily break the USB port if you are not
careful.

Works fine with OpenWRT. Uses kmod-mt7921u package for driver/firmware install. Make sure to use a USB3 rated extension cable if needed. For OpenWRT and a Pi4, I had to use snapshot version of OpenWRT with kernel 6.6+ for USB3 to work with this device. For Wifi6 band with AP mode, you must live in CA.

Works great for Linux based system like Raspberry Pi 4B bullseye OS. It can achieve around 600 Mb/s when sending data and 700 Mb/s when receiving data. The device also works with Linux system out of the box without installing additional driver.

I can’t comment on the quality of the product because I’ve had it for less than a week. The good news is that it works in Linux kernel v6.4.0. Just connected it and it worked. No messing around with drivers.
Tested the throughput and it sends and receives at 866 Mb/s (not sure if that’s the exact number). My access point is an AC1900 product so I won’t get the fastest advertised speeds.

Nach viel Ärger mit Realtek-basierten Sticks (8852 und 8832, ständige Abbrüche und Aktivieren/Deaktivieren durch schlampige Treiber): Stabile WLAN Verbindung mit hohem Durchsatz in 2,4 und 5 GHz. 6 Ghz konnte ich hardware bedingt nicht testen.
Im Edup sitzt ein Mediatek mt7921au.
