These both work great. It really helps all of the kids not complain about the internet. We have great service in the house and out to our garage with these. Highly recommend getting them and setting them up with your internet.

When I got my EERO router when I switched internet plan, the signal was not very good. It was slow and I had problems staying connected. This is because when I first had internet (and cable) installed in my house (a long time ago), they decided to install the connections on one side of the house. I tend to be on the other side of the house most of the time.
I couldn’t take it anymore and so broke down and spent the $80 for this extender. It was easy to setup and my connection is really good now. It definitely works!

Our internet provider recently changed to the Eero router/modem. Weโd had an extender on the old wifi equipment they replaced which I had purchased because signal strength was weak in some areas of the house. We lost calls even on wifi. Even after upgrading the router/modem to Eero the signal wasnโt very strong out on our lanai and our cellphone service towers are not as well placed as they once were. The provider gave us an option to lease an extender from them but we decided to purchase one because the price was far less than renting it would have been. It was the easiest thing to install using the Eero app. And we havenโt lost a call since. We are getting better speeds and streaming on multiple devices at rhe same time is not a problem. I am very pleased with this mesh system and this extender works like a charm.

This unit immediately resolved inconsistent and weak WiFi issues we were experiencing in one of these of our home. Had we obtained it from our cable provider, it would have cost $10 per month indefinitely. Also, it was extremely easy to install. Just plug it in and wait a few minutes.

Iโm no tech expert. I purchased the eero router extender but it didnโt reach the upstairs apartment as well as I needed it toโฆ so I purchased a second. The price was right. Easy to install and it works great. My renter in the upstairs apartment noted great connectivity as soon as I added the second eero. I have a 4000 sq ft home and 2 extenders provide excellent coverage.

Amazon Eero 6 Dual-Band Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Extender
We recently moved into a new home and needed wifi throughout the house. The house is super old with really thick floors and walls, and we were concerned about signal strength. We chose the Eero system for a few reasons and we’ve been really happy with it.
One: It’s incredibly easy to setup. You follow the instructions to plug in the Eero, then download and register the app on your phone, then you’re done! The extenders are equally easy to use; you just plug them in and register them in the phone app. Need to plug something (like a printer) directly into the network because it doesn’t have a wifi card? The Eero has a single ethernet output port on the back and you can plug a printer directly into that or (even better!) plug in a switch (we use the NetGear 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch GS608) to the Eero and use that as an extension bridge to take on multiple ethernet lines. And I know all that might sound complicated but it is really SO EASY to set all this up. Plug-and-play!
Two: It’s so good at juggling network traffic. Eero maintains two networks–a 2.4 GHz and a 5 GHz–rolled up as one and manages what needs to be on the 2.4 (Echo/Alexa and most “smart” devices) and what needs to be on the 5 (everything else, like your laptops and televisions). Eero also juggles which items need to be using the main Eero device and which need to be on the extenders you may choose to scatter throughout the house. You do not have to manage ANY of that; the Eero does it all automatically and seamlessly.
Three: The app is gorgeous and so easy to use. It gives you a little notification when something new joins the network and you can rename it (like “Echo-Bedroom” or “Laptop-Husband”) and categorize what type the device is (Security Camera, Laptop, Tablet, and so on). You can block items from the device if you need to. You can create a special guest network and password for your guests to use. You can see your download and upload speeds in case you want to check whether you’re getting what you paid for from your carrier.
Four: The signal we get from the Eero is super strong! I don’t regret buying the extenders, but I’m not sure we needed more than the one we put out in the (detached) garage. I would recommend buying and setting up the base Eero first and then buying the extenders later if you decide you need them. You can add the extenders at any time without disrupting the network setup–you literally just plug them in and walk away!–so there’s no need to buy them upfront until you’re sure you need them.

It has proven to be a reliable solution for extending Wi-Fi coverage in my home.
The setup process was fairly straightforward, and the eero app guided me through the installation steps seamlessly. The dual-band mesh Wi-Fi 6 technology provided a noticeable improvement in speed and connectivity, ensuring a more robust network throughout my home.
The extender effectively expanded the coverage in areas that previously experienced weaker signals, addressing dead zones and enhancing the overall Wi-Fi experience. The compatibility with my existing eero network made integration seamless, and the extender seamlessly became a part of the mesh system.

This Beacon work very well. Extends the Wi Fi signal to hard to reach areas in our house.
Very satisfied with this device.
