This came packaged pretty well with bubble wrap around the main plastic container and placed inside a nice thick cardboard box. The smell isn’t as bad as the alcohol cleaner I use for standard resin (main reason I try to use water washable whenever I can).
WARNING!!! (NOTICE .. however you want to look at it)
When you take the lid off, the inner seal is actually part of the cap seal – they are one-piece instead of two. So, when you peel off the seal from the container, and toss that away, your cap no longer keeps liquid from spewing out if you tip the container while transporting or if a pet knocks it over.
I’m looking around my office to see if I have another cap that I can use in its place.
OK, now to the good stuff.
The package does have all the same warnings about skin contact, washing, etc. So make sure you read through those just in case you need to clean up (see my note about the cap above).
I used the cleaner on both Water Washable resin as well as Standard resin, and the cleaner does appear to work on both. I won’t use it on water washable for cost purposes, but it does seem to clean just as well. The package does not have any help on how to use the liquid, not how to store or dispose of it.
Reviewing the ad:
1) I did not see any cloudiness even on Clear resin prints, which is NICE!
2) It is NOT flammable which most will like, and it DOES have a nicer smell than Alcohol
3) It DOES work with all resin types and brands (water and alcohol as well).
4) I used it in my machine and was expecting bubbles or foam and that was not the case
Cost: that is where you will need to make up your mind – alcohol based or Elegoo Resin Detergent?
It does what it says and works great and smells better than Alcohol. Will I use it instead of my water washable – more than likely not, but time will tell. I haven’t used it enough on my water washable to provide a definitive answer on that as I concentrated mostly on my standard resins.

I was a little skeptical trying this for the first time. I am relieved to say that this stuff is better than using alcohol in the cleaning machine. I was using alcohol only since I started printing with resin but now I’m ONLY using this stuff. It has less of an odor and seems to clean as well if not better than ipa. Highly recommended
