Andrew A. Russell –
My original DS100 Dual-Monitor Vertical Desk Stand came with two of these clamps, and I wanted to throw a third monitor off the top. This is really a bit of a MacGyver hack, because I slid a piece of 2″ PVC Pip into the hollow of the original tube (it’s a perfect fit), and then wrapped the end with about 5 layers of white ducktape to match the original circumference of the stand. This worked perfectly to give me a the extra 6″ needed to place this 3rd clamp. The quality and build of the Ergotron hardware is unsurpassed. Despite my obvious hack, the hardware is flawless… and this mini-project came out flawlessly and solid.

It pivots well.

Can’t really use this as the Ergotron arm I have is too small. But the clamp itself is nice and feels quite solid.

Perfect!
