This monitor arm is supposed to be able to hold up to 34″ monitors @ 18lbs, however the up/down tilt struggles to hold my Dell 27″ monitor. It only weighs 12lbs… have to really tighten the allen key all the way, and make sure not to move the monitor too much

I didn’t know if this monitor arm was going to be worth the 110$ price tag. I had a hard time believing a single arm could be worth that much. It’s definitely worth every penny and I can only begin to imagine how much better the more expensive offerings from ergotron can be. If you’re looking for something with a front, back, side to side adjustment at a fixed height, you will be hard pressed to find something better than this. Cable management was great and easy enough. Fit my desk and monitor perfectly. Has a lot of stability and maneuverability in the aforementioned ways. The performance is worth the cost.

It easily holds my 35” LG curved, ultrawide monitor that weighs ~15lbs. Assembly was super easy, comes together in just three steps. I researched so many versions and price points of monitor arms before settling on this Ergotron model. There are other options half the cost that will probably work just fine, but everything about the NX feels so solid and secure that I’m willing to pay the premium. I’m so happy with how my desk looks with the monitor mounted. Highly recommend.

This is the main question when you see the Ergotron arms. They are 2-3x more expensive than competitors.
Surely, they are not worth it?!

Haben uns insgesamt 4Stk gekauft (zwei Pro Arbeitsplatz) und die Monitorarme sind nicht nur schön sondern auch sehr stabil.
Montiert haben wir hierbei einen Eizo Monitor der etwas schwerer ist als die Standard 24 zoll Monitore, einen 27 zoll Monitor und ebenso zwei 34 zoll curved Monitore.
Alle halten super fest und sicher!

It can be hit or miss when it comes to monitor arms and tv mounts. There’s as many brands as you can make up company names. And while there are cheaper options, Ergotron again demonstrates why they’re worth the extra dollars. The quality and feel of this mount is premium. Heavy and packed extremely well. It was easy to put together. It even has built in cable management.
I connected a dell 34” ultra wide that was a bit over 17 lbs. I was worried it might be too Henry. But sure enough, holds perfectly. I can’t say the cheaper options aren’t fine, but can tell you that you’ll recognize the quality and premium materials in this right away. This is a case of something being worth the extra when you’ve got an $800+ monitor mounted on it.

I bought a 34″ monitor last year that does not have an adjustable height – I went through several monitor arms that were too wobbly or ultimately broke. I bit the bullet and bought this one – which I should have done on day 1. This arm is very stable – there is still very slight wobble but its coming from the desk which is not the fault of the monitor – highly recommend

I love this arm. Everything is super sturdy without adding complexity where it is not needed. And I find it to be one of the nicer almost minimalist designs out there. I’m very happy with it. If you need to change height on a regular basis, you might want to look elsewhere.

This item is a step up from the popular Vivo monitor desk mounts if you’re willing to pay a bit more for it.
It isn’t as versatile as the higher-end models, but it still outshines some of the cheaper alternatives in terms of looks and build. The white finish shows no imperfections and is coated evenly throughout. No loose screws or knobs and the build of the item feels more solid.
The only complaint I have is that it tends to tilt now and then while using it alongside a 27″ Dell monitor with a BenQ lightbar attached.
Overall, for being the lesser-priced Ergotron product, it holds great value if you want something that looks good and functions well.
