I bought this as a gift for one of my kids…she absolutely loves it!!! I own 3 Esee’s myself ..the 5,3 and Izula…and i got the 6 for another one of my kids….she also loves it…once i read that all people who go into SERE training get an Esee 4…i just knew it was the knife i wanted…

Die Artikelbeschreibung ist bei Amazon nicht gerade die beste. Und somit bestellte ich auf gut Glück und war sehr überrascht über das schöne Messer.
Geliefert wurde es dank Amazon sehr zugig. Das Messer wird in zwei Umkartons verpackt geliefert und das Messer selbst war noch mit Kunststoff eingeschweißt. Zwei Aufkleber des Herstellers und die Bedienungsanleitung (wenn man eine benötigt) lag auch dabei. Das Messer wurde kurzer Hand ausgepackt und die Halterung für die Scheide montiert. Das Paracord Stück lag auch dabei. Ist ganz hilfreich, wenn man damit mal hacken möchte. Die Verarbeitung ist 100% tadellos. Hab kein Fehler feststellen können. Die Scheide ist aus Kunststoff und nicht aus Kydex. Sitzt aber super stabil drin ohne zu wackeln oder das es raus fällt. Die Halterung für am Gürtel zu tragen ist sehr stabil und lässt ein senkrechtes oder waagrechtes tragen zu. Das Messer hat mich somit im allen mehr als überrascht. Der Outdoortest wird erst noch erfolgen. Aber da sehe ich keine Probleme. Das Messer kam out of the Box rasierscharf an. Ein Papiertest stand nix mehr im Wege. Also ich habe schon sehr viel teurere Messer gehabt, die längst nicht so gut verarbeitet und geschliffen waren. Natürlich muss man den Stahl mögen. Rostfrei ist dieser nicht. Aber dank der Beschichtung und ein wenig Öl ist das kein Problem. Durch die lebenslange Garantie erfüllt sich somit all meine Wünsche. Dieses Messer ersetzt zwar keine Axt oder Säge, aber für manches ist es sehr hilfreich. Was man sich nicht erhoffen sollte, das Messer ist kein Schnitzmesser sondern ein Survival Messer. Dafür wäre ein kleines Taschenmesser besser. Die Farbe ist super, denn somit sieht das Messer sehr zivil aus (was es nicht ist) und man findet es auf jedem Waldboden. Unter den §42 fällt es auch nicht und somit kann man es in der Öffentlichkeit ohne Probleme führen. Ich hoffe ich konnte den Kauf somit ein wenig erleichtern und hänge noch drei Bilder mit dran. Dann hat man einen besseren Einblick auf das Messer als die Bilder und Texte von Amazon. Also klare Kaufempfehlung!

Liegt sehr gut in der Hand, sehr robust. Mit etwas Pflege, ein Messer fürs Leben.
Auf Grund der Größe kann es bedenkenlos mitgeführt werden.
Bin begeistert, auch von der coolen Farbe. Vorteil…es wird von der Allgemeinheit als süß und hübsch betrachtet und
erweckt nicht den Eindruck eines taktischen Kamp / Ãœberlebensmesser ( dies ist es aber).
Also..auch für die Brotzeit im Biergarten geeignet.
Zum Holzspalten und Türen aufbrechen sicherlich auch.
Werde mir Modell 6 auch noch zulegen.
