I’m 5’9″ 185 pounds and all the other pads I’ve tried collapse under my weight. This product doesn’t. It holds my weight. It’s very firm and thick. I got it for Ischial Bursitis or Sitz bone bursitis and I have been having to sit on cushions for about 4 years now. Nothing as helped. I have to have a cushion everywhere I sit including church. So, I like this one and will now buy 4 more for everywhere I sit. I don’t know the long term wear and tear of this one though as I just got this one.

This is well made and stayes in place or it would have a one star rating Even though the listing says it’s 3″ the box it came in says it’s 3″ even the paper inside the plastic wrapper says it’s 3″ out of box it was 2&1/2 inches after several days now has grown to 2&5/8 inches Sorry not techy enough or would post photo

The cushion feels hard to my hands but sitting on it for hours is very comfortable. I have two different thicknesses for raising chair heights to make getting up easier. I agree with other people’s assessments on how comfortable these are for extended use.

Bought this as a replacement for my spare wheelchair and am pleases with the quality. As a tip I recommend spraying seat cushion with Scotch guard before using. It will prevent stains of all kinds
