My old scale was huge, heavy and really needed to be replace. This unit is a great size, fits on a single 12×12 tile in my bathroom setup is easy and it sends all the data to my phone. Provides weight, BMI, body fat and a number of other heath measurements all while taking these measurements quickly, my old scale took forever to measure these features. If you have the app open on your phone the measurements appear instantly on the phone in the app. Price was good, product so far is very nice I wish I had bought it sooner.

This scale is way smaller than our old one, by the same OEM. Love the synergy with the app and the standard iphone Health app and the fact that it can track your weigh-ins and monitor your progress (which is why I bought it). What I didn’t expect was in the VeSync app there is a “Wellness” tab that allows you to log your daily food intake and create a meal plan, all simply by taking pictures of the product UPC labels. Adding foods that don’t have a UPC label (i.e. Chicken breast, steak…) is a very simple process that only takes a few seconds. You can easily set up “Meals”, meaning instead of adding each item 1 at a time, you can create a “Meal” that has all the items you have consumed in that meal and you can add that to your food diary in fewer clicks. For example I have a “Breakfast Meal” that consists of black coffee, protein shake (with mile) and a multivitamin. Instead of having to add all 4 of them individually, I can simply add the saved “meal” and it populates all of them. You can use that same “meal” repeatedly.
The only downside I’ve found is with 5 adults in my house, they have to log in with my account information to have access to the scale. I created their own separate accounts and added them to my “home” but they are unable to view any devices in my “home” if they are logged in on their profiles. If I sync the scale to their account it is unavailable on all the others.
Now with everyone logged in on my profile I had to create separate “users” under the device (i.e. the bathroom scale) so the scale records their data to their own profile on my account. That works great. The problem from this comes from the Wellness tab. As they enter their data in the daily food log, or their meal plan, it is automatically sync’d with or alters my data (because it’s my account). So when they want to weigh themselves they have to log into my account, and if they want to use the rest of the app features, they have to log into their own account. This is why I rated the app at 4*. I’ve been unable to find a work around, if I find one, I’ll update it here and change the rating.

Very nice, sleek scale. It does the job AND MORE. You do have to download an app and setup a profile. Our whole family set up their own for fun. The scale is efficient and accurate. If/when you have the app it tells you your weight, BMI, Body Fat, Metabolic Age, Fat-Free Body weight, Subcutaneous Fat, Visceral Fat, Body Water, Skeletal Muscles, BMR, Muscle Mass, Bone Bass, & Proten. You caa also manually put any of them in. You can set goals for yourself and track foods, and view progress through a graph. I feel like it does a lot more than I need it to, but it is cool to see and will be used as healthy motivation. The scale itself is super lightweight and doesn’t take much space at all.
