This product did not stick to the side of my crested gecko tank at all!! I put it on the side as instructed and it fell off less then two seconds after I put it on scarying the ever living out of my lizard and me!! It definitely needs a better adhesive then what was given!

I use these hanging hides in multiple enclosures because my reptiles love hiding inside them and I can easily remove the hide to clean it and can always peak inside when used on a glass enclosure. Good stuff

Overall it looks nice.
I cleaned the class (plus it’s a new build with fresh glass) prior to installation and the adhesive pad is just not the greatest. It feels like a friction grip instead of something sticky. It fell off the first time i placed the hide on it but the second time it stayed.
I won’t be adding a crestie to the terrarium for a few weeks so i will be watching it closely to ensure it’s safe.

these are great, and all my geckos and frogs live them. and regardless of what some of the reviews say, they hold perfectly well to tank walls. I’m assuming the bad reviews failed to properly clean glass with rubbing alcohol prior to install.

Happy that it has a sticker instead of a suction cup, so it’s stayed up well. My cresty loves it, has stayed up for months now, and he didn’t take a month to start using it.
Rex is an adult, he finds it spacious, could definitely be used for a bigger gecko. And he posed for the photos.

Looks pretty good, I like the black cling on so the lizard feels safe. but I don’t like that it is only held on with what I would call a sticker. Its pretty heaver I would much safer with magnets. although I haven’t had any trouble yet its been 2 months or so. also she doesn’t go inside she just sits on top. -_- but that’s just my weirdo.

This hide is great for my crested gecko. She loves to climb all over it and usually sleeps in it during the day. I have seen negative reviews that it will fall. Mine has not and I think it is due to properly setting it up. The hanger is not sticky, it is more like vinyl or silicon that sticks to the glass without tape. It is vital to clean the glass before applying. The hide should be routinely removed to be cleaned. I would get more of these if I needed them.

The adhesive was not working straight out of the box and fell right after I had attached to the tank. Thankfully my gecko was not in it, but I had really high hopes for this product and it could have been nice in my tank. Normally I would buy things from Exo Terra without a question but people need to think twice about this product.

Took a bit to get it to stick. Ended up calling customer service and they told me to let it stay on the glass without the cave on it for 24 hours as it will stick harder over time. I ended up not needing to do that, it’s been fine since. It’s a cute hide and very decent sized, big but not overly. The inside will be a bit difficult to clean, but that’s not a huge issue. I’m very happy with it.

Doesn’t even look the same! The entrence hole are placed at the side instread of the front and the hanging divice was not included. This will not go in my terrarium.
