WHY I PURCHASED IT
After a SNUBA trÃp down in the FL Keys, my father & I fell in love with that other world. The ocean world. Setting out to become freedivers, we bought this kit as our Apollo 1 into that wet wild.
MY THOUGHTS & EXPERIENCE
I have taken my personal kit into several hours – long practice sessions at the pool, & into the ocean. There I realized:
THE FINS
1) This kit is an excellent beginner’s kit, but the fins are too short for efficient use of oxygen while freediving.
-1 STAR // After about 24 total hours swimming with them, the fin blades have begun to permanently bend down & deform, requiring more energy to generate the same amount of propulsion, giving me less time under the surface by burning through my oxygen.
THE MASK & SNORKEL
2) The silicone mask & the advanced snorkel are fantastic, beside the fact that it’s not really anti-fog. Get yourself some baby shampoo to keep that glass clear. Who wants to go to another planet with a foggy visor?
THE REST
3) Haven’t really used much of the other gear yet, but of I were to spend any time on shore I’m sure that cool beach blanket would come in handy. The mesh bag is simple, but practical. No complaints for the price & everything it comes with.
I tested the phone pouch by opening it, putting some bulgy keys in there, & letting it float under a step of the pool exit ladder while I practiced for some hours.
My father did the same, except he didn’t open his or put anything in it. My pouch & things were dry, his unopened pouch got water in it.
Perhaps it makes use of air somehow to seal? It may be my father’s was a dud pouch. Not sure. Phones are a fragile & receptionless distraction out at sea, & I don’t want to find out at what depth these pouches are overcome by water pressure.
Overall, the kit is great to fall in love with the ocean & learning to freedive. Once you’ve overcome the fear of not breathing, & you’ve become comfortable moving serenely in the water at 10ft – 15ft depth to conserve oxygen, you’ll want more power per kick of your fins.
Also, make yourself a DIY custom diving board / bouy, or buy one. I nearly got decapitated by a jetski, despite being within 20ft of a fellow diver’s diver down flag. Get your own, or stay together. People are a far greater threat to you than sharks out in the water. Sharks are like big bad water dogs. Got to YouTube college & you’ll learn some more.
I’ll be upgrading to Seac Motus Italian fins, which are longer, less expensive than others, & have interchangeable blades for later upgrades or replacements. Those are the best fins for the money that I could find. Good luck out there, & stay safe. Wave at the sharks for me!

Everything about this set is rather good, from it’s small size for easy portability and its comfortable interfaces with your mouth face and the adjustable flippers, just make sure you put on some socks or something because your toes and feet can get quite chafed from swimming too much unfortunately, I had to cut most of my snorkeling adventures a little short due to the agonizing and constant chafing of my toes, not sure what can be done about it but if you have a pair or plan to get them, put on some socks, that’s all I can say, also get some anti fog spray because the face mask fogs up even with spit, haven’t tried anything else but I’d recommend a tested antifog spray.

SNORKEL: The snorkel was AWESOME! The water was rough at times and none of us got water in our mouths. Even held our breath and dove underwater to look at things and when we surfaced breathed out slightly and continued on. The snorkel was very easy to breathe from. If you try on dry land, like we did, it seemed like it would be heavy but in the water stays easily in mouth and did not have to clench our teeth to hold it in at all. Great design!

Mask:  The mask fits well and makes a good seal with your face. Mask stayed clear! No leakage or fogging. And face sealing the water out.

Fins: The fins are comfortable. The broad heel strap is comfortable on the back of the heel, even without a boot/footie. Put the fins on in the water-just float on your back.
Overall, the quality is surprisingly good for the price. Good set for travelling. And I will use this sets for my next trip.

I bought this set and the mask leaked and the fins are so short they offer very little power. My nephew used the set in Hawaii and he is a strong guy but struggled to swim against currents so not safe to use in ocean.

Goggles quality! Flippers low quality but do the job and actually work well! Bag could be better. Phone case; don’t trust it with an expensive phone. Snorkel works for its low price. You getting yo LiL money’s worth! Nothing more.

We went on a vacation in 2023 recently and decided to take this product along, here are some great things I have to say about this product:
– Quality: Amazing, we went snorkeling during an excursion and we opted out of the gear that they were offering and decided to use this product and it beat my expectations by a long haul.
– Durability: The mask is nice a tight when it sits on your face, and the goggles didn’t fog up as it did in the other mask that the scuba instructor was offering that my boyfriend had
– Comfortable fin shoes – Sorry don’t now the name, but the shoes are very comfy, made out of nice material that are soft for your feat, they are very easy to adjust and stay on quite well
– Snorkeling tube – The tube was great, it is made in a way where the water doesn’t easily get in, which was a big plus in my opinion
– Affordable – Great price, I saw similar versions in Walmart without a carrying case, for 60 – 70$ – so I think this is a steal deal.

We got these for our trip to the keys. I am a very scred swimmer so i already hand my anxiety about ordering online for something like this.. and lets say i am an odd shaped woman. Lol. Short and small but still shaped like an adult. Well everything fit amazing!! No water leaked in the goggles or the snorkle, the valves closed and opened nicely… the fins fit nice and did not chafe or hurt.. the bag is nice so the sand falls out and i will absolutely recommend and buy again!!
