Actually bought this for my sons egg competition at school – it was such a low price I didn’t mind buying it, but I was so surprised when it arrived – despite being so cheap it was really sturdy and high quality – we’ve kept it and my son used it to catch mini beasts in the garden!

these are a great size for the price. but the flip open lid on the top is really poor quality. I bought 7 of these and 3 of the lids have already cracked in just the first few times from simply opening them…These are being opened/closed by careful adults, they still cracked. The cage is still useful for holding critters even with the cracked lid, but its disappointing how weak the plastic is that you cant reliably open the lid without them cracking. That being said, again they are much bigger than the others at comparable price, and were still using ours with cracked lids so for us the size was still worth the quality trade off.

These are really great and luckily sturdy enough to both arrive safe and sound, I purchased 2 because often these types of aquariums arrive cracked, ended up with a spare because both were perfectly wrapped, which was lucky for me because I ended up finding a second cool spider in my basement.
The day before I bought these I found a poor, very docile little male spider (unknown species) trapped in my wash machine, I decided to keep him to show my entomologist neighbor for identification. I named the spider Maytag and kept him in a Parmesan Cheese container until these arrived. Sadly my neighbor hasn’t ever seen one of these guys either but happily I found a very large female a few days later, so I named her Mrs. Gardener and I’ll be printing out pics for my neighbor to show his colleagues to compare both genders.
The clasps on these containers is super tight, so any escape prone animals will not be able to open it. The spiders are very docile, ground dwelling, funnel web spiders so I don’t have to worry, although Mrs. Gardener is trying to make her webs higher and higher each day so I’m very glad for the strong clasps.

The Exo Terra Faunarium Plastic Reptile Terrarium has been a great addition to our setup. Its small and compact design makes it perfect for our needs. We primarily use it to store crickets for our bearded dragon, and it does the job exceptionally well.
While the lid can be a bit difficult to open at times, this minor inconvenience is outweighed by the overall functionality of the terrarium. It’s easy to clean, which is a huge plus when dealing with live insects.
One thing to note is that the plastic does discolor over time, but this hasn’t affected its performance. After three months of use, it is still holding up well and continuing to serve its purpose effectively.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Exo Terra Faunarium to anyone in need of a compact and functional container for small reptiles or insects. It’s been a reliable and practical solution for us!

I love caterpillars and so I got this so I could watch my hornworms grow. The construction is surprisingly good and the plastic is very clear. It’s easy to clean and can be used for a lot of things.

Great value for money. It’s a lovely tank with good visibility. Sometimes the lids can be a bit wobbly but they are still secure. Perfect for my rescue snails. The mini one for some reason has huge holes in the lids- I needed to keep baby snails and I had to cello tape it up. There is also a small lip under the glass lid…. Be careful if I you have tiny little ones! Great tank and I’ll continue buying.

Ordered this two times, thought it was a mistake that it didn’t come with a lid. Ordered it again received again with no lid. This is very frustrating and could almost be considered a scam.

When trying to pen the top lid snapped in two. Thank goodness I bought 2. The other one was also hard to open but it didn’t snap/break on me. It’s also really hard to take the top off if you need to. It’s pretty stable, the main body is not flimsy it’s pretty solid and thick plastic.

First one they delivered, they forgot the lid, and it had a small crack in it. But they replaced it & I just received it today , with the lid, and it’s perfect size for putting my crested gecko in when I clean his terrarium! Thank you !!

It’s probably hit or miss based on the size of the container you ordered and how it’s packed. I ordered the small because I’m breeding crickets with isopods. It came in great but my refrigerator I ordered from a box store came in with a massive crack up the side and bent corners. So, I’ll take my little win on $6 vs the return of a new $2k purchase 😂
I love these tanks (unique color from the typical clear base and bright blues and pink tops), they are perfect for breeding feeders or very small animals and those you need to travel with. About to order a few more for back up breeding of feeders!!
