Fits great! Little dent on the side but I could have done that when I was transporting it so I won’t give them heck for that but other than that..it’s what I need to set up my tank! Only four stats because I haven’t put a snake in there yet to see how it holds up.. I will update as soon as I see how well it keeps the bugger in! So far I recommend this topper! Shipping was super fast as well which I really appreciate!

If yoyr 55gal. Aquarium have a frame around the top to hold the galss this grill is your vest pick cause its a lil wider than other grill on amazone and yill fit on it

I always worry that if I buy something like this, it won’t fit. This fit. I do need to weigh it down with small landscap papers because I don’t have clips bit it keeps the cats out and I can mist through it! I will drill holes for my misting system when it arrives. It’s good for that too because all you have to do is get the drill out. Awesome 👌

i got this to cover my 55 long gallon tank. i will say it doesn’t fit perfectly but not to the point my gecko can get out. it just barely is too small. it would be stable if it fit better but that’s my fault for not checking measurements. it looks very nice and it’s easy to just put on the top. it’s metal making it easy to clean as well. it’s light. despite the looseness it’s stable and feels safe.

I’d read some reviews that this lid was too long for some people’s 55 gallon, but it fit mine PERFECTLY! Like a glove – snug but easy to remove, very sturdy and much more reasonably priced than any of the screens I’ve seen in pet stores. Would highly recommend!
