I usually buy Dickies 1.5″ suspenders, but thought I’d give two inch a try. I’ll go back to 1.5″ as I’m small of stature and the 2″, to me, are overkill. For a large person these would be ideal and comfortable. The clips are very strong and would hold up a pair of jeans made of 15 ounce denim.

The item is OK for the price. The suspenders are rather stiff as compared to other national known brands. I think that I’ll pay the extra cost for Dickies or Carhatt next time.

Ordered these to compare to others at twice the price. To my surprise, these were as good if not better than products costing $25 to $30 each. Excellent, tightly woven material with sharp looking clasps that hold extremely tightly. Easy to adjust to virtually any length regardless of how tall you are. Like these so much, I cancelled my original order for three pairs of a competitive brand costing $27 each and bought three additional pairs of this brand for less than $12 a pair. Attractive and reasonably priced, but his Fasker product has some significant shortcomings. The clasps are effective but I found them difficult to use. The sizing adjusters are similarly dicey. Finally, after several months of usage the elastic stretched extensively, requiring frequent sizing adjustments.
The is the first suspenders that I have used; so I cannot really compare with alternatives. So I’m not sure if their shortcomings are unusual.

One thing I’ve noticed about getting older is the importance of substance over style. Of function over form. Of comfort over fashion. I had been a belt man all my life, but there came a point where I simply got tired of always hiking my pants back up, even with the belt firmly around my waist. Enter suspenders. I had always used suspenders with my suits and loved how they made my pants hang and the way I never had to re-adjust them once on. I went to Amazon and found these for my everyday clothes. Truly a godsend. P.S. — I wear them UNDER my casual shirts so you can’t tell I even have them on.

I had to keep tugging at my snow pants/ski pants and didn’t want a belt digging into me so found these suspenders. They do the trick! Big heavy duty clasps but aren’t sharp so won’t ruin my pants. Size adjuster stays in place, no slipping, easy to adjust. Happy with my purchase, makes playing in the snow with my 3 kids more enjoyable as I don’t have to worry about adjusting my pants all the time.

They work as intended. The straps are about 2 inches wide on the large version and the clasps are very big as well so if you want something that can be hidden I don’t think these are for you. If you’re looking for dress suspenders, these are not for you.
