Once you get the hang of this pedal its a dream to use. So let me help you figure this beast out! BTW mine is combined with the 2 button foot switch for a total of 6 buttons.
Button 1: 4 options. Hold it to bring up a tuner (the tuner uses the 5 leds to show you sharp flat or on point) and the display tells you the note your in. Also switches between mode 1, 2 and 3. Mode 1 is quick access 1, 2 and 3. Mode 2 is up, down and bank. Bank goes by 10s. Mode 3 changes the amp itself. When combined with the 2 button switch you have Stomp, Mod, Delay, Reverb, and Tap. Honostly this pedal is worth it if your on stage, or in studio and dont want to mess with it too much. In fact It has made switching amps much faster at church. Plus it acts as a very basic pedal board, since in the software you can set up a stomp, reverb, mod and such. Then turn them on or off as needed. Well worth the price, and if you dont want to have to tinker with the amp just to switch this is perfect for you.

I have an old G-DEC 3 15, and bought this not knowing if it would work since it’s made for the Mustangs. Exactly as other G-DEC 3 owners have said, it works very well and opens up several features of the amp that are pretty useless without the footswitch (looping, preset switching). It also makes the tuner much more useful and the amp generally easier to use. It’s got a metal body and durable switches, so I expect it will last a while. Despite its complexity, it uses a basic guitar cable to connect to the amp so no worries about expensive replacements. No manual, so you have to do a little searching to see what G-DEC features correspond to the button banks.

This switch pedal is built well and should stand up. It’s nice to not have to take your hands off your guitar to reach an turn knobs an settings and, the built in tuner is great as well – these switches can simply open up your amp capabilities all with a tap of the toe .

I have a Mustang 3 and the additional 4 button switch makes a lot of difference the total of 6 buttons vastly increases the flexibility of the amp even though I am only using the M3 for practice at present I prefer to have the amp as far from me as possible.
I practice using mostly the clean settings but, it is also fun and adds variety to use other settings when trying out a new piece.
As I practice mostly sitting it was disruptive to have to frequently walk to the amp and change the settings, the 2 button with the M3 is ok but only allows a basic control now I rarely have to go to the amp to make changes.
The set up of the 4 button in combination with the 2 is easy plus, the tuner display on the 4 button is very useful addition.
I highly recommend this footswitch, as it adds more versatility at a reasonable cost.
The construction is sturdy and so far for me it has performed perfectly.

This is a fantastic pedal. I actually purchased it for use with my Mustang GT 50, which there is a “new” different model pedal for. However, the ONLY difference with the “new” model is the functions listed on the pedal because they do different things on the newer Mustang amps. BUT, if you contact Fender right on their website for the pedal, they will send you a FREE magnetic overlay for this older model pedal. This allows you to place the magnet right over top with the functions listed for the newer Mustang amps!
I got the overlay in a few days after my email to Fender. This saved me more than half the cost of purchasing a “new” pedal, and I have the capability to use it for the old Mustang amps and new ones, as I can take the magnet off whenever I want.
Works great. Great purchase. Very happy.
