I use two amplifiers with this thing, a 2 12 EVH 3 and a JVM 410H Marshall half stack. While both amps are capable of a rhythm and lead Chanel on their own, I set both amps for a slightly different 80’s hair band sound so I can change up my rhythms, then kick both amps in at the same time for leads. This box is perfect for that.

So far, and I’ve only just hooked her up, this is a good A/B, A&B box. The bright lights will be AWESOME to see on a darkly-lit stage. My one gripe is that it features a SCREW ON battery door. Ugh. In the middle of a gig, if the battery goes down, I don’t really have time to say “Anybody got a small Phillips?”. I’ve got this issue on my bass compressor pedal as well, which is awesome, but what a pain.
I will, naturally, recharge and change my batteries on the days I’m not playing, but as a working musician, it’d be nice if a simple plastic door that you can pull off quickly (just in case) was there. And no, I won’t be grabbing a power supply. Rechargeable batteries work fine, but I would think this’d be tailored to working musicians for a quick battery change.

I’ve had it for around 5 months now, and it does what it says it will do without any technical issues. Coming from a name brand like fender, I’m happy with the price point as compared to other competitors. I’ve even used it as a di with no complaints when doing it live. I’m not sure if it’ll be 0 hum in a studio setting withers it counts, but for what I’m using it for, it’s great πŸ‘

Fender typically makes very good products, and this switch box is no exception. Strong and sturdy, with robust switches and bright easy to see LEDs. When I received it the LEDs didn’t work even though I plugged in a 9V adapter. I opened up the box and found that one of the wires was pinched into the case which I’m sure happened on assembly. Not a big deal, I moved the wire out of the way and screwed the box back together (4 screws) and everything works fine. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a switching solution. I have it set up as one input, going to two different amplifiers. You can choose one or the other output, or both at the same time. It’s great.

So this does what it says. 2 guitars 1 amp or one guitar 2 amps. The issue is when I had 2 guitars going into 1 amp for a sound comparison, the second (B) guitars volume was dependent on (A)s volume. Really weird. Like it didn’t isolate when switched to B.

Right out of the box the B channel doesn’t work on its own. Interestingly, A+B does work, though there is a ton of noise when engaged. I expected more from Fender, even though it’s made in China.

I found the MXR a/b box to be very noisy. Was looking for a noise free, transparent solution. Took a chance on the Fender and I’m very glad I did. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do without adding any signal noise or degradation. Highly recommended!

Extremely simple but absolutely my best friend. Was running two Hiwatt amps a head through cab and a combo and used the switch to dial in both for studio setup and the switch worked perfectly. Arriving from the box it was missing two screws on either side but didn’t give much mind about it. Works great highly recommended if you’re running two amps or two instruments
