Worth the cost. Has a shinny finish. Its a sturdy piece of aluminum. In regular gardening use I believe it will last my lifetime. Its a Fiskars quality product. Good for digging or moving sand, soil, and the like. Not good for root cutting as there is no edge around the periphery.

My old cultivator, or as I call it “big dirt fork” had a wooden handle that eventually broke off. (It probably doesn’t help that I often leave my tools outside) I already have a lot of Fiskars branded yard tools and have been really happy with them so I went with this one.
