I really like this light therapy lamp! It helps to improve my mood throughout the year when itโs dark and gloomy outside. Itโs like bringing the sunshine inside. The quality is great with several different levels of light to choose from. The design was well thought out because you can easily take it anywhere with you. The features are easy to use. This also makes a great gift! I bought one for my mom. You wonโt be disappointed with this purchase!

Iโve been using Ott lights for years as reading lamps as they provide full spectrum light. I can read while dosing myself with enough happy rays to keep my SAD at bay. But, for a long time Iโve been wondering if a light box might provide me with more light. Hence my interest in this product. The Fitfirst light provides up to 15000 lux, far brighter than any of my Ott lights. This product was easy to set up, has a small footprint, and is adjustable in terms of its number of lux and the warmth of such a light display. A timer is also available but I have not bothered to use this. While I wonโt stop using my Ott lights as reading lamps, the Fitfirst light is a far cheaper solution that I use in non-book reading areas โ like my standing work desk or my mini-trampoline.

I live in where sun doesn’t come out often during winter especially this winter, so have been dying to find some fake sunlight to wake me up and maintain normal circadian rythm. The packaging does not really feel professional and convincing but at least it’s clean and tidy and comes with a usb cable and a Qualcomm charger(power source).
Fingers crossed it’s working as intended and truly UV free.

I’ve had this lamp for 6 months. We don’t get natural sun light in my apartment. My cat loves sitting in front of it as well.

First off, this light works as it is supposed to work. Brightness seems correct, and there are several options as to color wavelength. This part actually baffled me though, as there is a correct wavelength and correct brightness. While the options seem good to have, I’m concerned that folks might use an intensity that seems more comfortable, but will also be less effective. The buttons are not clearly labeled in a way that can be understood.
Additionally, the second unit worked well, but the first unit we got was DOA and had to be returned.
If the unit you get works, it is great.

Seems to do what it claims to do, and is less than half price of items that look identical. However, some claim to have tested it and found it does not live up to its claim of 10000 lumens? It would be good if this company could add some test reports to validate their claims. I use it on mornings when it’s too cold or wet to go outside, to get the circadian rhythm benefits of morning light. We are coming into Winter in Australia and I am prone to pretty bad winter blues, so I will use it throughout the day too. The only thing is that the cord is too short. For a device that needs to be fairly close to your face, they should allow for more cord length, otherwise they assume that your face generally hovers close to a wall, which defies logic. The last quibble is that it claims to remember your settings so you don’t have to repeatedly choose them each time you turn it on. How??? There seems no way to do this and since I always use it on the brightest setting I have to tap button 1 twice, turn button 2 three times, every single time I turn it on. These are the 3 reasons why I removed one star.

The product is very easy to use and is a manageable size, about the same size as an iPad or tablet. The lighting is very good with multiple brightnesses and color options. Also, easy to move around, very light weight. So far seems like good quality construction, and it came well packed in a protective box. Oh, and the timer is great too with several options for shut off. I love options in general, and this light has them all! Very happy with the purchase!

I love this light! I have ADHD and my therapist suggested getting more sunlight to help with the lack of dopamine in my brain chemistry. The light is perfect! It is about the size of a picture frame so it sits easily on a table or shelf, itโs easy to park, and it plugs into a USB port, so no worry about batteries. The light is adjustable and has a lovely glow. I put it on my nightstand so I can use it as soon as I wake up each morning, which is the best time for dopamine enhancement. Iโve told several friends about it to help them, too, and they love it as well. Itโs terrific!

I am testing a batch of light therapy products I purchased.
This product was tested in a pitch dark room, with an MT-912 light meter – at exactly 12โ, 24โ, and 36โ distance. In real world terms those distances are right in your face, darn close, and arms length.

This product was tested in a pitch dark room, with an MT-912 light meter – at exactly 12โ, 24โ, and 36โ distance. In real world terms those distances are right in your face, darn close, and arms length.
Measurements on brightest bluest setting:
12โ distance (super close) = 1940 lux
24โ distance (still close) = 488 lux
36โ distance (reasonable to sit by) = 245 lux
It read 10K lux at 3.75โ distance.
It came with both a usb cord and a plug for it. The build quality is middling and the packaging is middling, compared to carex or verilux. Itโs better than Suxio, but itโs also a bit dimmer. The light quality seems inferior to carex or verilix.
I would rate this against the competition as almost valueless. Iโd go with a Verilix or a Carex even at similar lux and twice the price, because the quality of light is just that much better.

I received my this yesterday. Have had it in on a couple of times and it does seem to keep me awake if I feel I am dozing off. So as this early stage I think it may be of some use. Would really need to be using it for a month or so to make a reasonable commit.

I keep this light at the side of my worktable so I get a ‘dose’ first thing in the morning AND as instructed, I don’t look directly at the light. I’ve used it for a whole season now and I’m happy(er) with the perceived improvement in my mood. I didn’t seem to be so sad in the winter this last season. I use it at the 10,000 lux level to provide support for SAD.
