Flamingals Low Rise Wide Leg Jeans

These are nice, but very thick and very long.

Love the low waist and the wide leg. But the pant leg is too short. I wish they had a tall option. I have to wear a size larger than I want because when I bought a smaller size the leg length got shorter. I still keep them and sweat them. Because I love the style.

I am so genuinely extremely disappointed in these pants. I am a 5’7 110lb 22 yr old woman with very long legs and a high metabolism. Due to this its extremely difficult to find pants that not only fit my size but my leg length as well. After reading the reviews I was very excited to purchase these as many were complaining about them being too long. I ordered an xs to account for my small frame and counted down the days till they arrived (today). To my utter dismay I pulled the pants out of the packaging and they looked as though they were a size 4-6 pant and not a 0 or 00 as one would expect in an xs pair of pants. I tried them both on with the same disappointing results, I was absolutely drowning in them. They were falling off my hips, sagging on my butt, my thighs not even touching any part of the leg of the jean with how huge they were. Thinking maybe ??? there was a mistake and I got sent a sized medium I searched for the tags. Both were size extra small. At this point I just broke down bcuz I own absolutely no jeans that fit my body type and spent 100$ on two pairs that I was SO sure would fit me after reading the size chart just for me to receive them and not even be ale to wear them at all with how horribly huge they were. The sizing chart and measurements they utilized is not correct at all and now I am out another hundred dollars on a pair of jeans I will never be able to wear due to false advertising. Not only that but they seem mid-rise to high-rise jeans and not low-rise.

Sorry in advance for the length of this review. When I find pants that fit well, I like to be thorough. I read every review that had been listed (in english) before I purchased. So, I went into this purchase accepting that I may have to do some returning & reordering. From what I can tell this company tried to put as much versatility into this design as they could. Which I greatly appreciate since women’s bodies really range all over. I am 5’8″ & about 200lbs, purchased the 4X to start because I wasn’t sure about the size. They fit big but I wanted to try them out first. I washed them in warm water & dried in full heat mode assuming they would shrink a bit. Surprisingly they didn’t shrink much at all. Next purchase I will try a lower size. I also purchased another style of the Flamingals pants in 4X but they were way to big so had to exchange.
Length. These pants do seem to run long in length, for me & quite a few other reviewers. This doesn’t bother me because I am able to hem pants myself & prefer longer over shorter any day. If you don’t have the ability to do this, there are usually clothing alteration places that can do it for pretty cheap.
Fit. It is so hard to find decent mid-rise boot cut type jeans anymore. The ones I have previously purchased have the legs so tight it pulls them right off my hips. These have a wider leg & a few gatherings in the front to make room in the gut area if needed. These have a very comfortable fit and are soft.
Pockets. These have all 4 pockets and are normal size that you can actually put things in them! This has become a rarity in women’s pants so I felt a mention of this was warranted lol.

Love these jeans. Great fit, look amazing on, not cheap thin fabric like most jeans are now days. I have had these a fews months and washed maybe 5 times and still fit perfect and still love them.
