This chair has been the best purchase I have made for my office space since I bought my standing desk! I telework from my home 100% of the time now. I was just using one of those really nice, leather cushioned, height adjustable bar stools to rest my derrier every now and then; but I took new position that involves a LOT of meetings, some of them a lot longer than others, that I can’t possibly stand through; especially with a herniated disc in my neck. My bar stool was not doing me any favors in that area. So I started searching for ergonomic standing desk chairs. I toiled for days going back and forth between different websites, stores, etc. comparing pricing and different features. There were SO many options with all sorts of fancy descriptions and fancy pricing to go right along. I finally threw my hands up and settled on this one. And what a good deal I got for the price! Everything about it is just right! The height, the seat, the arms, the lumbar support, everything. I read some reviews that complained that the chair would “sink” a few inches when they sat in it. But the “give” is part of the ergonomics. I stand at 5’2” and weigh 135 lbs, and it does give when I sit but not so much that it affects my comfort. The curved seat provides good hip support, and the cushion is very soft but not too “squishy.” I can sit in this chair for my full 8 hour work day, and I don’t get stiff. The arm rests are just the right height with soft padding. It doesn’t recline, but that is not a feature I was looking for. It rolls easily across my tile floors or the thin foam mat I have in front of my desk. The round foot rest easily adjusts up and down and the chair rotates easily. I think this chair is as comfortable if not more comfortable than some of the chairs I tried out in-store that were double the price.

Chair is fine, it doesn’t go as tall as you think, for tall people it should fit. NOT as easy to assemble as described. Two of the holes for the screws (where you connect the bottom with the back part) where busted so the screws didn’t go as far as they should (I got to use a lot of tricks to make it work). Then one of the arms comes bent a little, so it is slightly lower when down… but overall, looks good and it does the job.

I ordered this chair to pair with my new standing desk because I wanted an option to sit if I wanted to without lowering the desk.
The box arrived and I lugged it upstairs and let it sit in a corner because I was absolutely dreading assembling it.
Maybe it is because I had too many Ikea mishaps where I had to take apart and reassemble. Maybe it is because I have been assembling a ton of furniture lately and it is always super annoying, frustrating and time-consuming. Regardless of my reason, I just did NOT want to do it.
Today, I finally faced my fears and opened the box and WOW. This was the easiest to assemble piece of furniture ever!
1. The hardware and bolts, etc. were already pre-sorted and organized into a blister pack-like cardboard holder and nicely labelled, so all you need is a scissor to open that pack when you get to that part of the instructions.
2. The directions were fool proof–super clear and easy to follow with sufficient diagrams and well written text.
3. All tools included (just an allen wrench).
I finished assembling it in 20 minutes, which is pretty much a miracle for me.
Time will tell how solid this chair is…so far it is pretty comfy and I added an additional lumbar pillow for more support. It wheels easily and is easy to raise and lower.
However, I can absolutely recommend this chair if you want frustration-free assembly!

Nice comfortable leather seat and arms can be moved up or down. So nice I ordered a second one! Highly recommend this drafting chair.

Pros – Delivery was quick and price point was excellent. Simple to assemble and my low back is very grateful for the lumbar support missing from our high top dining room table chairs. Height was perfect for the high top table and the main selling point.
1 year review:
Lumbar support is still holding strong as is the padding in the seat and arms. My 1 and only complaint is that by moving the left arm up and down, it has loosened the hex screw. Over time, the left arm has become loose and wobbly. It can be resolved by tightening the screw but there is no access to it without disassembling the whole chair.
I would buy again though.

Great quality, I have been using it for almost a year. Very happy with the purchase.

I just bought this chair a week ago and am loving it. My husband and I usually have trouble putting things together, but we had this chair assembled quite quickly. It is way more comfortable than the padded stool with a short back that I had been using. The foot ring is a perfect size and adjustable; very comfortable for resting my feet on. The chair itself is comfy, and when I sit back in it properly provides very good back support. I love the range of heights – easy to put it down for a normal desk or raise it up for the high desk I am sitting at right now. I did purchase the better wheels which came up on the screen as I was about to add the chair to my cart, and they roll very smoothly. I am not sure what the wheels the chair comes with are like. I also like that I can flip the arms up to push the chair in when I am not using it. The only improvement I would suggest is that they make the arms adjustable in height as well for when you are using them.

I got this chair open box (returned by a previous buyer) for only $113. I take advantage of large discounts like this because Amazon quality control inspection has been running at about 95% perfect (for me) over the last 20 years. This was no exception. No items were marred in any way. All hardware came sealed in factory blister pack. Zero items missing.
Tips for assembly. CAREFULLY thread the bolts by hand, manual T handle 5mm hex, or the supplied 5mm hex wrench. Then, you can machine tighten. I used my small Porter Cable 1/4″ drive impact gun and a quality 5mm extra long ball end hex bit. I did the final torque carefully with my T-Handle hex set 5mm.
Caution. Snug up these machine screws by hand only. I am quite an expert in too-soft Chinesium hardware. Do NOT torque the hardware down like you would on a car. They are also very easy to cross thread, so take your time.
Critical. Do not snug up any screws until the module you are working on has ALL of them threaded (started). Using these guidelines, it took me longer than usual, but I did not break or ruin anything. I had no issues other than taking my time to avoid pitfalls that I see some people complain about. The assembly instructions were excellent. Hardware packaging (blister packs) and identification was unusually excellent.
The chair is perfect for people under 5’11”. Even the $400 drafting chair I sit on at work does not accommodate a 6’4″ man with a 36″ inseam. Woefully inadequate thigh support (all the seats are too short for me, regardless of price). I live with it. I have to. I would rather suffer a little and still wake up tall every morning.
The arms on this chair a quite tiny in order to save 50 cents on manufacturing costs. This is why I have come to loathe some Chinese products. Can I live with this for the price I paid? Yes.
Padding on the seat and shape are not the best, but livable. This chair is specifically for my very high work bench I recently purchased. This chair fits the bill for me. I wont be spending 8-12 hours a day in it. I am happy with what I have, despite its shortcomings. I did not want to spend over $125, so I am thinking the value I got for $113 is quite good.
The pneumatic post seems quite robust and full of very good air pressure. The chair is capable of going very high. I find I am only using 75% of its total height capabilities.
I am 245lbs. I will keep an eye on any hardware should anything start to loosen. Feels OK fine as far as stability it has five legs ands the casters roll easily on my tile floor. It is No where as good as my work drafting chair, but that costs almost four times more.
I am not likely to use the foot rest, but I did not see the weaknesses that some reviewers experienced. Mine is just fine with a very secure locking knob.
Note: Before assembly I adjusted the back rest recline tension to max…clockwise towards the + sign embossed on the knob. A big guy like me does not want to lean back too far on a cheap and very high chair. I will probably loosen it 3/4 of a turn. We’ll see.
