I am no plumber. Apparently I’m an idiot. But with no directions, this idiot turned the screw and made grooves in the washer and poured tank water all over the floor. I bought a different product with gaskets that go through the tank holes and a tool for tightening the bolt. I don’t know what you’re supposed to do with this product. Maybe it works if you know what you’re doing….
3 stars because it looks and feels fine, I think it’s used error….. but it’s now broken and I am tossing it.

Recently noticed that my Crane toilet tank started leaking, as there was a little rust-colored puddle behind the toilet. Had no idea what to do about this, so I found a YouTube video where somebody was using a kit just like this. The bolts holding the tank to the bowl had rusted to the point of almost disintegrating, and the rubber washers were practically falling apart. When the repair kit arrived, I was a little intimidated as I’m not a plumber, but it was super easy. There’s no telling how much a local plumber would have charged to come out and do this, and I did it for less than $7. Foam rubber gasket fit perfectly. Have to knock off 1 star for not including brass bolts as advertised. Brass is more resistant to corrosion, but I’m sure with brand new steel bolts it’ll be many years before that will even matter.

Fluidmaster has great products for this type of thing. Had to remove the throne for a new flooring install. I always replace ALL of the hardware and parts when reinstalling. Worked great!

Plumber quoted with starting price of $160 to come.
I have managed to replace my toilet’s tank-to-bowl gasket and hardware with the help of Youtube video and the instructions provided behind the packaging.
I kept my toilet under observation for a few days now and I noticed slight leakage on one side and had tightened the screw from inside the tank a little more with a little strength and there’s no more leakage so far.
I understand why water was leaking from the bottom of my tank after removing the old parts, the rubber was melting.
Pretty straightforward with some visual video guide.
p/s: I did the whole replacement/installation all by myself without le mari’s help 💪🏻
You can do it too yourself!

It is fine if you know what you are doing. Very little instruction. Search for YouTube videos to help

I had a leak at the inlet water line to my toilet tank. The whole flush assembly was loose and the plastic lock washer broke off causing water to drip out of tank and run down my floor. I replaced the whole unit and bought a new flapper as well. A pair of channel locks and pliers along with a few towels and job was complete in an hour( I’m no plumber)!
The directions were in English and easy to follow.
Toilet has been smooth and running as it should.

I’ve bought this brand a number of times through the years. Always did the job it was designed for. Quality is always great giving years of durability. Simple installation with a positive seal made.

Perfect solution for toilet maintenance! These screws made fixing my toilet tank and bowl a breeze. Sturdy, reliable, and easy to install. Highly recommend for anyone needing to tackle toilet repairs.

One nut is missing from the package. The rubber seals inside the tank are slightly too big. I cut them smaller to fit the contour of the tank.
The washers outside the tank need to be bigger to cushion the mounting pressure for a tight seal.
The main tank-to-bowl seal fits well.
