Funny enough I’ve been buying this turtle food for the wild turtles that live nearby in the canal where we live in south Florida. We like to stop in and feed them maybe once a week or so as a treat. They love it, so I’ve continued to keep buying it. Has the nutritional pellets, as well as the freeze dried river shrimp and mealworms.

The pellets are still a little too big for my little guys but after they sit in the water for a minute they can eat them just fine. The meal worms though!! I break them up and the turtles LOVE them!

The media could not be loaded.
A turtle came to our property somehow avoiding being crushed by the highway! Haven’t gotten everything we need to propertly house him, but I did wanna get him something to eat because we didn’t have anything to feed him with. I have livestock animals only… he loved this food ! Good value and he loved the mix.

I have a 32 year old western painted turtle. Over the years, he’s been very picky, only eating mealworms for many years and having to get injections for vitamin deficiencies. I had tried every pellet/floating food stick out there. I discovered this over a decade ago, and he loved it! I was so relieved. No more vet visits necessary. He’s super healthy now, so the ingredients must be of good quality. This is a great value for the size and lasts about 3 months for the one turtle.

I have been turtle sitting a few months for my nephew’s friend and have taking a liking to Stella(who is a rather large red eared turtle) So, I am invested in seeing what foods she finds appetizing….She loves this food and can’t seem to get enough(as she isn’t that enthusiastic about the food her owner provided, lol) Will purchase again in a larger size, if available.

I Only use these as a treat in addition to their meals. I notice the water gets murky a lot faster. I’ve seen that other reviewers don’t like the pellet to shrimp/worm ratio but I really don’t mind it, to each their own. Overall good!

My turtle is a notoriously picky eater. This is the first time trying this brand of food with her and she absolutely went nuts for it. Now when I go to feed her she splashes me as I try to put some food in the water because she is trying to get to the container.
